Nice big room. Position. Close to city centre. location only. It is on the Pest area, very well located.Only the location of the hotel is good, all the rest is really bad, i don't advice this hotel to nobody. Nothing!!!! The hotel was very dirty, criminal nd dangerous. The staffwas very inpolite. They offered us a rooms, which were alreadyoccupied...., Finally they find out a room /very dirty/ for us. Theytook our money, whitout giving us any document. Also they asked moneyfor the child, but do not supplied extra bed.nothing, do not stay here, theives!!!!. NOTHING. Hotel restaurant is over priced with hidden charges and taxes which were not listed. reception was a cafe that didn§t open til later. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Hot water boiler for shower did not work in one of the two rooms we used. Furniture and fittings in rooms were poorly constructed and TV reception was very poor. cleanliness of the room was aproxim.Shower head brken in both rooms booked. Curtain had fallen down in oneroom so lack of some privacy and bright light shining in all night. Verynoisy location. Got locked in onec and locked out once until propoerkeys sorted out!. Ajoining door to next door room [noise}. No one on site if problems outwith closing and opening of Inn.We couldn't check out, restaurant was closed. Nobody answers on telephone, door bells,.... Poor. Dont come here if you don't need it. Room could be cleaner. No heating (on demand only!). Worse than "Hotel Califonia". there was no reception, no breakfast, no room cleaning staff, no phone, no staff to contact if an emergency arose, more of a doss house, i have used letsbookhotel.com many times and this the first dissaster.Several: There is not a recepcion, you have to ask for your key at the bar nearby, they charge your and you don't see them again and they charged us 10 eur. more than the price at the site, They speak very poor eanglish. The hotel entrance was scary.The room was not ready when we arrive and they don't clean while we were there, it was simple but confortable, not amenities, very little toilet paper. Actually there is nothing which a normal man can like in that"hotel".we had our room broken in to by a member of the hotel/restaurant staff, as they used keys to get in. No reception! No cleaning! Heating ON DEMAND! on check out, restaurant closed!!!! Don't go there. It's worse than hotel California!!!!.

Galilei Inn can be found in an art relic building from the 18. century on the corner of Vaci and Havas street. The building is renovated.
Besides hotel rooms there are flats in the building. Hotel rooms were developed last years, with new equipment. Additional rooms and a separate reception desk will be developed continually, but currently you can find the reception in the restaurant. Restaurant Galilei is on the basement level in a vault.
Important information to guests
There is no permanent reception, please inform the hotel in case of arrival after 23:00. You can find the reception in the restaurant. Payment is due upon arrival.
Information about the area
Vaci street is the famous shopping street of the city. It is in the historic heart, close to the main sights of Budapest. Most of these you can reach easily on foot or with the underground ( only 1 or 2 stops ). This area is well served by public transportation. The guesthouse is surrounded by hundreds of boutiques, shops, cafés and restaurants.
The attractive parts of the River Danube is less than 30 meters from our hotel. Within a 100 meters you will find the Central Market, the largest and most attractive market in the capital.

- Change onto underground line 3 until the stop Kálvin tér.
- Get out in direction Vámház körút ( Vamhaz boulevard ) and take the 3rd street on your right ( Vaci utca )
- Galilei Inn is on the corner of Vaci and Havas street.
From West Railway Station ( Nyugati Pályaudvar ):
Take underground line 3 until the stop Kalvin ter ( 4.th stop ) and follow as described above.
From East Railway Station ( Keleti Pályaudvar ):
- Take the underground line 2 until the stop Deák tér
- Change onto underground line 3 until the stop Kálvin tér.
- Get out in direction Vámház körút ( Vamhaz boulevard ) and take the 3rd street on your right ( Vaci utca )
- Galilei Inn is on the corner of Vaci and Havas street.
From Ferihegy International Airport:
- Take the Airport Minibus ( Shuttle bus ) or taxi.
From Ferihegy terminal 1 take the train connection to the West Railway Station and proceed as indicated above.
