The building, the peace, quiet, spaciousness and cool of my room, the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. It was an ideal choice for me and perfectly suited my needs - I will certainly book there again! As a seasoned youth hosteller, it perfectly combined the advantages of both youth hostel (cheapness, functionality, friendliness, helpfulness and useful information,) and hotel. It is close to the train station and some of Budapest attractions (Heroes Square, for example), hotel staff is ok the same as services, comfort, cleanliness of the room, the atmosphere in the hotel is friendly and warm.

Light in the bathroom was out. no free wifi for the whole building.. to get to the metro/train central station, you need to take two bus stop which is 1 minute walk from the hotel (the bus stop)..I didn't like the breakfasts. There were really bad. On the third morning I couldn't really looked at it any more. No wifi in the room, very poor wifi signal in the lobby.The noise of the guests. Rooms smelt of cigarettes including bed linen.A shame as price etc., was good and a nice quiet location.Holes in the bedding. Very small towels. hardly any space in the room to hang clothes; no drawers, hooks; clean but very worn linen,one small towel per person. Outside the hotel prostitutes were walking the street. It was cheap but not worth it!. Behaviour of the staff. Information in the advetisement was very poor: all the rooms we had, have had three beds versus advertisment of rooms with one, two, three beds. Subsequently we, 15 persons, could not organise optimal out stays and paid with 30 % more than should. Not at all positive - I only stayed 1 night and then went and found alternative accomodation. Suspicious substance splashed on wall next to bed, bugs squashed on walls, had to buy my own toilet paper. The whole place just felt really dirty. Did not sleep well that night, was way too paranoid there would be a mice village somewhere in the room. I put the tea-towel sized bath towel under the door just to be safe. Was really horrible.

Dominik Panzió (Dominik Pension) is located in the residential villa district close to the Central Train Station, the City Park and the National Stadium. Our building was built in the late 19th century and it used to belong to the church next to us.

Information about the area

Our pension is located very close to the City Park, with it's museums, the famous Széchenyi Bath and the Heroe's square. The Stadiums are also within a 10 minutes walking. To have more information about the attractions of the city, just visit the official website of Hungary.

Budapest has a well organized public transportation, which in our area available both day and night. The Bus 7 and 73 stops about 100 meters from the property. Basically there is a bus to take you to downtown in every 5 minutes, and after 11 pm every 10 minutes. The Keleti station is about 600 meters from us, where you find most international trains and the metro as well.
