The Gombás Kúria Mansion B&B, Europa Nostra prize-winner in 2010, was built at the end of the 18th century as a wine house and a summer residence, and it is one of the oldest sights of Balatonfüred, located in the hillside. The complex is situated at the foothills of the picturesque Mt. Thomas and boasts nice views over the surrounding mountains from its huge sun terrace. The garden provides barbecue facilities, while children can enjoy themselves at the small playground, or play table tennis and badminton. The Gombás Kúria Mansion B&B also features a wellness area, offers a Finnish sauna and an infrared cabin. Tagore Promenade, alongside the shore of Lake Balaton in the centre of Balatonfüred, can be reached in 1.7 km. Balatonfüred Train Station is 1.9 km away, the city centre can be reached within 15 minutes on foot.

The service of Gombás Kúria Mension was very good. There were not many guests in the hotel when I was there, but the service (breakfast, room) was still perfect. Where do you find a hotelowner who cleans you carwindow before driving off?. Absolutely lovely building. Beautifully decorated. Owners are fantastic and make you feel comfortable and at home immediately. Location is a 15 minutes (nice) walk down to the lake and restaurants - took a taxi back up (around 10 eur).

The majority of our rooms and the public areas are non-smoking. Fully equipped en suite rooms, also some suitable for guests with disabilities, are offered to our demanding guests.

In the nicely-kept, grass-covered backyard, besides safe parking places, a terrace with sunbeds, garden furniture and barbecue facilities invites you to relax, while children can enjoy themselves at the small playground, play table tennis, badminton etc.

Our wellness section boasts a Finnish sauna for 8 people and an infra-sauna for 3 people. Upon prior arrangement you can indulge in massage or "Bioptron" lamp treatments to promote well-being.
