The location of the hotel by the lake side and its setting of gardens with hamocks over the entire area between the buildings and lake shore makes it taste like heaven. The comfort room ,avaiability around the clock of coffe and cockies and free and efective internet services made the stay very pleasant.The staff was outstanding in friendliness and assistance.Its close location to thr main street of Panajachel makes it even better.
all reviews » Location is excellent: 3 minute walk to main street. Setting adjacent to the lake is incredible with beautiful sunsets and gardens(would recommend booking a room on 1st floor). The location/setting was beautiful sitting right on the lake. It was close to town and we were able to walk in to town and shop. The staff were very friendly, and helpful with all of our needs. The onsite resturant was very good! They had a complimentary breakfast buffet that was out of this world good!. Clean and comfortable rooms with nice bathroom and hot water. Located right on the edge of Lake Atitlan with a private dock; only an eight minute walk from "main street" where there were plenty of shops and restaurants. The "included breakfast" was fantastic!. The hotel offers a great view of the lake. The staff was very helpful. The hotel grounds/ garden was well keep. There were beautiful flowers, plants, benches and hammocks. The buffet breakfasts was great, with lost of fresh fruit and juices. I arrived very early having taken the night bus from Oaxaca and expected to just leave my luggage when I arrived. However, the room was available for me straightaway. I liked the old nature of the building and the very central location. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was hot with lots of water pressure. The soap in the bathroom smelled so good. The view of the lake was beautiful. The complimentary breakfast was SO DELICIOUS!!!. Everything! Beautiful location overlooking lake ringed by volcanoes, buffet breakfast was wonderful. best hotel at panajachel it is the only one that has acces to the lake. The location on lake Atilian is wonderful with the view of the volcano. The location was great, the view of the Lake and the facilities. An amazing view of Lake Atitlan from every part of hotel. location in front of lake Atitlan. Location and breakfast. it was just perfect. The design of the hotel means that the main hallway also doubles up as balcony to each room. Some nights depending on neighbours it could be a little noisy. We had 4 in our room and the room was too small. A little difficult to find (we drove) but nothing else. No wifi in the bedrooms. The staff could have been more enthusiatic. I swam in the pool once but it was not very clean ( it may be that it wasn't open though). We weren't able to get a wifi signal from our room. We had to go to the lobby to use the internet. Hotel was a bit hard to find, but really not their fault!. The eco-swimmingpool was a big desapointment to me And the kids. Tv cable quality. Rooms are poorly fitted, keys did not work properly, wifi was weak, staff was not as professional and polite as expected.
