The traditional, family run Hotel Vagia is built in Aeginian Architecture with respect to the surrounding environment, just 150 metres from the beach of Vagia. All rooms are fitted with stone-paved floors and built-in beds. They open to private balconies overlooking the Saronic Gulf, pine forests and the Ancient Temple of Aphaia which is a 30 minute hike away. Each includes air conditioning, a TV, a mini bar and free WiFi. An awarded homemade breakfast buffet, enriched with pies, cakes and jams, is served daily at the spacious stone-paved terrace surrounded by colourful flowers and various trees. Traditional Greek dinner and local wines are also served on a regular basis. The hotel is situated at a distance of 2 km from the Aphaia ancient temple, 3km from Agios Nektarios Orthodox Monastery, 12km from Aegina Town and 2km from the port of Souvala. The beach of Tourlos is only 1 km away. Car and bike rentals can be provided on request, while yoga classes, massage treatments, snorkeling and diving trips can also be arranged.

Vagia hotel exceeded our expectations in all categories. To begin, the view from our room was spectacular and romantic. The decor of the hotel and the rooms is artistic, historic, understated and elegant. The breakfast food is simple and tasty and fresh with daily variations! Chockolate banana cakes to homemade jams and pies! Most of all, though, the mother and sons running the hotel are the kindest, most knowledgeable and genuine individuals you will ever meet; just speaking to them briefly ma.

Hotel manager, Nutty (I can't believe this is his real name!! sorry Nutty) but this guy makes everything special. even my friend step on sea urchin and we didn't know how to treat this, Nutty, his mom and all hotel guests helped us! it was really sweet memory to us. thank you everything!!!. The friendlyness of the host-family and the outstanding breakfast with delicious cakes and homemade jams. Beautifull terrace with lush vegetation. Close to beach, 3 Restaurants and bus-stop, all within 200 m. Looking forward to our next stay there!. They made us feel like family. Bed was a bit hard, tab-water was kind of brackish. Not easy access only a couple of buses per day so would recommend a car - however you are well positioned if you want to be away from crowds or noise. the bathroom needs renovation as well as the wooden shoutters, clean services could be improved, old tv does not work properly, a little bit far from Aigina city if you want to go there often but real close to the best beach of the island Ag.Marina.
