  The owners and sons Nicholas and Yannis were so friendly and helpful to us. They provided island information, food treats, and even drove us to the ferry at 5.30am.   It was exactly as I had hoped from the information available on the web: relaxed, welcoming, clean and high standards in all areas. The perfect place to unwind and feel comfortable. Quiet yet friendly. Good sized very well maintained pool, idyllic roof top restaurant, spacious rooms with good sized bathrooms and plenty hot water (a treat in Greece!... what people say » ) - The friendly and welcoming atmosphere thanks to helpful and cheerful staff members, who made our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The food was also of a very high quality and had a wide range of variety, while also catering for a vegetian diet.

  We stayed in the apartments Castro several times, it is a small cozy hotel running by a family. You are warmly welcomed and at all times they are available for you. Nice and clean accommodation with excellent location.   This was a well taken-care of hotel, stylish and the manager was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was spacious considering the small rooms that are usually available in Hydra and had plenty of sunlight and good view of the mountain.
