  A hotel in a nice location, opposite Ioannina across Lake Pamvotis, so we had great views of the lake and the city. Courteous staff. We were also positively impressed by the excellent buffet breakfast. Extremely varied, with many local products and even some original ones, like a delicious and healthy dessert, made from layers of mild cheese or yo... what people say » gurt, cereals and jam. Besides, someone from the staff was pacient enough to teach anyone interested to prepare coffee on sand. Great way to start you - Nice, friendly, rather new, perectly clean hotel.   The hotel is situated within the fortress, very close to the town centre and the lake Pamvots. Within a couple of minutes walking distance you could get a boat to the Nisi iland. The sfaff were very friendly and gave us valuable information about how to get to different sightseeing places and facilites. Breakfast was ok - hearty let's say. We do recommend - We got the first floor corner with the windows that open up to the outside courtroom...BEST Room ever. At first, I was scared it would be noisy being right next to the reception area, but we didn't hear anything at all. The room itself is cozy and decorated very nicely. The pillows smell amazing and the bed is so comfortable...we didn't want to get out! The brothers who work there are also very nice and helpful..they recommended a guide for our visit to Zagoria and it turned out to be fantastic

The place is peaceful and very close to the old city, literally 5 min walking. The best part is the patio where you can eat, read or just relax in the shadow. We are arrived and they upgraded us to a deluxe room. The hotel was very clean and up to date (since they renovated it around six months ago). The receptionist tried her very hardest to make sure we were comfortable (a very big plus) and the breakfast was amazing, since it was freshly cooked.
