The hotel manager when we arrived was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and has amazing views of Mykonos Town and the famous windmills. The room was large and the beds were extremely comfortable. Love that there was a fridge so we could chill our champagne!! The pool area is perfect to relax around and the bar staff are very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was extremely good! The location is perfect too - easy to walk to the town, restaurants and shopping!.

So close to the south bus station from which you are able to take buses to most of beaches of southern Mykonos. Need shopping, just few steps away. 3 convenient supper markets are nearby. No matter you come to Mykonos your take flight or ship, 10 Euro taxi fee could bring you to the hotel. Hip interior design. I highly recommend this hotel! The staff are lovely, it's only a couple of minutes walk from town with parking for cars and scooters available, the pool is beautiful and the rooms are clean, fresh and comfortable. And the Greek yoghurt with honey and fruit for breakfast is to die for! This is my 3rd visit to mykonos and this is by far the best hotel I've stayed in here. Fantastic value for money!. Fantastic experience from the time I was picked up at the port. Every staff member had an adorable quality to them that I loved chatting with them. They made me feel at home and nothing was a problem. The hotel itself is great. The variety at breakfast was perfect. My room and bathroom were ideal ... The Ilio Maris was a very modern and clean hotel, well located close to Mykonos centre but just away from the noise. The staff members were most friendly and keen to help. The outlook was excellent- over the pool and to the sea. Breakfast was also very good. Very nice hotel in the perfect location (the city center is a couple of minutes away on foot). Wish we could have stayed longer xx. I've been to Mykonos a few times now, and this hotel by far is one of the best on the island - great pool, close to everything and the views are incredible. One of the best holidays I've had. Service was great from start to finish. the hotel was excellent, they told us all the places to go and things to do on the island, and were very helpful. there facilities were second to none, and they were in a great location. the sunset from the pool deck is amazing!. We are off to Nexos next. The hotel is located at the center of Mykonos city and it is a small walking distance to Little Venice and the famous Windmills. It had a spectacular view of the sunset and the reception staff were very friendly. Staff very friendly and helpful, great atmosphere. Rooms were comfortable considering I had 2 teenagers. Breakfast was adequate and the great thing was that it was till 11am. Fantastic if you wanted to sleep in. Absolutely adorable and very convenient to the city downtown area. I say this because some of the decor is nice but a bit tired. The spaces were used well and the pool area was nice although not surrounded by especially picturesque territory outside the hotel. They were fair on the bill considering i checked out early - in fairness I was happy to pay more and go somewhere 5* so maybe my expectations were too high. Nothing!. For safety reason, pool is not open at night. My only negative is that although the location is perfect as it it on the edge of all the partying noise, the street noise at times was loud. But to be expected as Mykonos can get noisy. Airport, ferry transfer would be nice. Noise from very loud talking on adjoining balconies. Nothing. They might like to consider to have even light meals for lunch and dinner. Sometimes you don't want to venture out or get takeout meals. Cannot fault this hotel in any way. 10/10. I would have liked a chair and dresser in the room and more rugs. We stayed 11 nights and the breakfast was the same every day; a little more variety would be nice for meal time. For the price, WiFi could have been included. No negatives. expensive, the triple room was a good deal but the suite with balcony was not much better but far more expensive, a bit run down, ie airconditioning unit played up in the triple room, had to have staff come and fix it on two occasions. Soap holder in bathroom broken. One morning, we had to wait 20 minutes to have breakfast because there weren't enough tables. I understand that these things sometimes happen, but the setup of the breakfast area can be improved. It is mostly couples going to Mykonos, but all the tables are for 4 people, taking up a lot of space. Also, the hotel does not have free wifi - something unbelievable in this day and age. A few little things didn't work -- like the shower head kept falling off. But these were minor compared to the good things. You have to walk on the road (for vehicles, sometimes quite busy!) for 5 minutes when going from the hotel to anywhere. :(. Long walk up hill to entrance. Noise in the bathroom, no insulation in the windows facing the pool so very noisy. no. nothing. the rooms are very tight, low lighting, and have a minimum window. For a four stars hotel the room should be must better. Room confort. Room is a bit small, and the air-conditioning was inadequate. The bathroom is rather small, and the shower floods the bathroom floor quickly. We found the suite we booked very 'basic' to be called a suite! There was not much space in the bedroom and the 2nd bedroom didn't have an aircondition! We also asked for a suite with 3 beds and instead we got 1 single and 1 double so we had to share even though we were not a couple!. Room has cobbled concrete floor - need to always have shoes on. One of the senior staff is abrasive although the rest of them are lovely. You have to pay for wi-fi. The balconies can over look a quad bike sales carpark and be in the shade in the eves with no sunset view so be careful what room you book . This makes the room quite dark. Breakfast was basic but you are close to town so easy to go out if you prefer.
