A very pleasant stay in a nice hotel, located in one of the most convenient locations in Malia. Although family run, the hotel staff is very discrete and friendly. Not to forget about the vegetarian doggy called Pretty, which is so funny. All in all, the whole combination of interesting rooms, trully beautiful and relaxing pool area, the sun of Malia, some very good restaurants (we recommend Drossia) and other possibilities around the area made our stay very relaxing.

And you really feel like you are in holiday at home, thank you Marina and her family for this sensation. Also you can find there the best Greek salad I've ever eaten. It is ideally located in a quiet road, close to everything but far enough away from the bars & clubs so you can enjoy a good nights sleep. It's only a short walk to the beach & the hotel provides beach towels. Would definitely recommend this hotel & would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed staying in this small boutique hotel. The rooms are as on picture (we stayed in no.7), its quiet and you can stay calm, and far from bikes and qudracycles riding all the time. The owners are absolutely friendly and nice people. The hotel is both close to the city center, however far from from all-night discos and crowdy/ loud cafes. Sunvillage is a pleasant place to have an holiday. Quiet, very nice, relaxing, a few minutes by foot from the beach , rooms furnished new. A nice garden outside with a nice swimming-pool with deckchairs. The food served at the "bar" next to the pool was tasty and large portions. The hotel is newly furnished, the rooms are designed with taste. It is perfect for relaxing vacation. We went there for a weekend rest and we spent all day around the pool. There are a lot of pubs, restaurants and clubs in a walking distance, but due to its location the hotel offers privacy and quiet nights. When we arrived there wasn't even a courtesy soaps into the room. We had to ask for them. They charged my credit card immediately during the check in. The room is well furnished but the refrigerator makes noisy all night long. If you 're not used to sleep with light, in the morning you wake up early because of sun light. Do not have breakfast there! It has been the wrost coffee have ever had!! Two day after during the second time in Malia for 1 night. One can be picky here and there, in what could be better (always something can be better), but nothing that would leave a mark on our memories. Our stay in Sunvillage was to short, I would like to come back to spend more time there!. Intermittent Internet which was slightly frustrating at times. nothing to say here. Allthough the hotel is great and located in a quiet area, Malia itself wasn't our cup of tea... With that said, Sunvillage is a quiet haven which we will definitaly come back to. It is hard to find the car access to the hotel. Even the GPS can not lead you to it. My advice is to look for Sirens Hotel and when you get there take the small road that is exactly on the opposite of the entrance of Sirens Hotel. If you want to have internet and TV channels this is not the hotel for you. The Internet is very slow and we had only Fashion channel on the TV. I think we were tared with the "rowdy party people" brush as soon as we arrived, asked to be quiet before we had even made a noise, asked not to sit on our patio on a night incase we made a noise etc, dont want to give this hotel a bad review because it doesnt deserve a bad review at all! Just thought that was a little bit unfair. Aircon leaked Drains in bathroom smelled. The towels and sheets were not clean enough. Wifi is not working well in the rooms. problematic Internet connection. Unfortunately the family who run this hotel strongly rely on their daughter Marina when dealing with the guests. The parents English is quite limited, which can leave you feeling frustrated when Marina or is busy on the telephone.
