Guests staying at the Malia Mare are provided with a lounge area with satellite TV, internet corner and a well attended garden. Every week the hotel hosts a special BBQ night. The pool area with pool bar provides a whirlpool bath and swim-up bar, while the spacious sun terrace with sun beds offers sufficient shade on hot summer days.

We are a not so young couple traveling around Crete on our vacation. This a small nice family run hotel located inside the village of Malia. We liked that the hotel is very close to all the venues in the village. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They make you fell that you are part of the family. They provided us information about the places to visit in the village as well as the places to avoid. That was very helpful for us because we did not know much about Malia. The hotel was ex.

The Malia Mare was most defiantly the best choice we had... The staff was great, very helpful with everything we needed or any questions we had, really made us feel like home!! The rooms were perfect, the pool was beautiful!! Maria and Costas are the best!! Always directed us to the best beaches, the best local restaurant and really made our trip wha. My thoughts on this hotel is, good as a family run hotel, it has everything that one wants, good services, accomadation very good, swimming pool, snack and bar area very very good,the staff I found most helpful,the owners where like family,very helpful, I will stay at this hotel again and recommend it to people I know that are going to Malia,. fantastic hotel, super friendly staff.excellent gorgous pool. it's not a wild party spot like other places around malia , which is excellent, very chilled ambiance. overall fantastic value. A nice clean comfortable hotel. Helpful owners and great pool area. I will be back! October was a great time to visit as it was very quiet and perfect weather. Nothing really.. a/c is weak, when we complained we immediatly got another room. not much choice of food in breakfast, small rooms. The staff was nice enough, but not very helpful. The facilities were old, bathroom door did not have a lock, so it would be open. The room was next to the street and since it is close to bars and pubs you can hear the loud music until 4 am every night.
