We liked everything about Anthonas Apts. I was SO pleased to be away from the hustle and bustle of Fira and Oia,which were just an easy,short bus ride away(bus stop 5 mins from property). The apartment,which was decorated with such style,was kept SPOTLESSLY clean,as was the pool area. The garden was so pretty and well tended;it was lovely to return in the evening to relax in this atmosphere. Super pool overlooking Anafi Island & enhanced by a colourful, well kept, compact garden. Lovely variety of breakfasts brought to your patio every morning. On Caron's birthday, Lia surprised us with a magnificent cake, a big red rose & a bottle of fine Santorini wine! Taverna Tasos, another friendly, family run small bar/restaurant, was within a stone's t. Beautiful room, nicely decorated and very clean and a kitchenette with everything you might need if you want to cook. Great location to explore the island. The bus stop is only a few minutes walk and Taverna Tassos with delicious Greek food just opposite the bus stop. Lia and her parents are very friendly and ready to help with anything you might need. If you are lucky you might meet the family dog...lots of fun playing with it :) The garden is beautiful and the pool a nice place to relax. I . Everything. Anthonas Apts was an amazing place to stay in Santorini. It was so private, clean and relaxing. The manageress is outstanding and is always a great help. Rooms are well equipped and the breakfasts are high quality. Imerovigli is the best place to stay; not commercial like parts of Fira and outstanding views of the sunset. The restaurants in the village are top quality. It is a 12 minute walk to the main village along a coastal path with tremendous views. People who stay here will no. Lovely relaxing stay at Anthonas at the beginning of August. 10 minute walk to Imerovigli centre up a path with a view. Breakfast brought to your balcony was a lovely touch and we really missed it after we left the hotel. Staff are excellent and always there to answer questions or give advice on where to eat etc. The apartment was beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean with an amazing view. In fact the entire complex was beautifully maintained. The host Lia was very welcoming and extremely helpful. It is not in the main township but a little outside it, so it's not crowded or noisy. It was our honey moon trip and we were surprised to find out that our room was upgraded from studio to apartment, also the bed was decorated with flowers and a bottle of wine! The location is not ideal if you intend to have attractions in a walking distance. You have to either take the bus or rent a vehicle. And the buses in August are usually packed, so it's not that relaxing. Nothing. Close proximity to busy road - some noise disturbance. Coming home... Walk to the bus stop/ taverna... No path - torch provided... There is nothing we didn't like. Close to a road with traffic and the noise could be annoying when lying close to the swimming pool. There are no restaurants in the place but the breakfast prepared there is as sweet as any other hotel's restaurants... the bus was not so convenient during the time we travelled because it had passed the peak season, so renting a car will be perfect if you stay there.
