The hotel is located in the very center of the city, however the nearby streets are calm, so at night you can enjoy your rest. It takes just 2 min to reach the S-Bahn station, also you can find here a lot of restaurants and caffee. Every day I took my sandwich on my way to the conference without any time delay.
Especially I enjoyed the hotel sitting-room with wonderful fireplace and library - it was awesome!
I strongly recommend to stay in Monbijou hotel :)

The hotel is cozy, comfortable and quiet. Nicely located in East Berlin, it's minutes away from Alexanderplatz, underground and some of the most famous Berlin monuments. Nothing to complain about here. Staff is superb. There's no breakfast at the hotel - my best advice here is to go to Alex restaurant (located in the bottom of the TV Tower), you can get buffet breakfast for 7 euros every day from 9 to 12. In the evening you can have dinner round around the corner in a couple of very nice german

Easy to walk to from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof (about 20 mins walk). The room was clean and uncluttered in an appealing minimalist style. Great location for exploring berlin, easy walk to all major site's and metro right outside front door. Place was very clean, room was a good size, had a good bathroom, was quiet and was very cheap for quality of rooms. Building also had a kitchen available to use and also free washing machine and dryer which is very handy. It's a mix of dorms and private hotel rooms (which i had) and i would stay here again when in Berlin.
