  The hotel is about 100 m from the train station and bus stop. Close to the old town, a supermarket, shops and restaurants. Our room was modern and big enough for 2 people. The room was very clean, the bathroom, as well. The check-in process was very comfortable although was a little different than in other hotels – you have to phone to the owner... what people say » (the telephone numbers you receive in the letter from the hotel after you made a reservation, the phone numbers are written next to the phone, as wel - Parking nearby was convenient. Staff very friendly and the manager's English excellent so no worries there. Explained everything clearly on arrival so there was no need to contact him, although he said he is contactable 24 hours a day. We enjoyed the breakfast which filled us up for the days exploring.   Great place in a great area. This lovely hotel lies on top of a hill just in front of a beautiful lake from which is visible the famous castle of Neuschwenstein. It's a silent and pleasant area and if you are lucky to get a sunset, you can also get a lovely panoramic view from the balcony and you can even have a walk along the lake which is just 1... what people say » 0 minutes distant by walk. I hope to do - Very nice breakfast and staff - they were very accomodating when our party ran into car trouble and got in very late to our hotel - beds were turned down and ready to be slept in! Location is good - very easy access to nice hiking and biking trails and the King's Castles - and we had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony window.

Took dry sauna in lower level and other amenities are being developed for spa like experience there as well.   A pleasant enough hotel, further from Fussen than we had realised (about 8km) but in a pleasant rural setting on the main (but not busy) road. There is a reasonable restaurant attached - when we arrived an had to go into the restaurant to check in everyone was staring at us! The room was satisfactory - a bit of a climb up narrow stairs with luggag... what people say » e. The breakfast was also satisfactory. - Everything!!. A great choice. We had an excellent 4 night stop here with large, well appointed bedroom with en suite. Balcony at the front overlooking the Weissensee Lake. Excellent waitress cover in the very busy restaurant below. Ideal for visiting Fussen for shopping etc and for sightseeing at nearby Neushwanstein Castle
