We liked their (the crew's) warmness, and attentiveness. They were readyto solve any problem good willingly and efficiently. We felt like beingwith friends. Generosity is the policy of this hotel and it makes youfill like being at home. The guests are of different nationalities fromall over the world, and the atmosphere is multicultural, thanks to theendeavours of the staff. We really enjoyed staying at the Monopol. It was a friendly and hospitable place. The staff throughout the hotel were efficient, friendly and helpful. The room was bigger than anticipated and was well heated. It had a tilt and turn safety feature built into the window. The bed linen was cahanged daily as were the fluffy and soft towels in the bathroom.

I felt as though this was a trap and I payed for pay tv I only watched for 5 minutes. Iwas waiting for it to shut down. No air-conditioning. The day we stayed in the hotel wasn't too hot, so the lack of air-conditioning wasn't such a big problem for us.... The hotel didn't respond to my email prior to our travel. everything was fine and I suggest this hotel for other quests. smelled of stale cigarettes , but the staff soon fixed that for me. Room was tired and a bit dated. There was no shower curtain in the bath so when you had a shower, the bathroom got soaked. Not much fun when there are 2 of you wanting to shower.The only suggestion was that the room didn't have an air conditioner or fan and the days we were there it was very warm.
