The owner Michael Heidrich was very pleasant. This was my second stay and it will probably be more stays at least 2 / year. Grenzmotel is very close to shopping malls and have good parking options also for trailers if necessary. Taxi to central Flensburg costs less than 15 euros one way. A very cheap price if you will go to one of many good restaurants by nighy. the cleanliness and the kind atmosphere. furthermore we could bring our dog. all reviews »
The price of the motel was good. Nice place, nice price.The "buffet" breakfast did not have many choices. many small cheeses and a few small rolls, but not like other European breakfast buffet's I've had. They should have had some bolied eggs, more rolls and a better selection of cold cuts and cheese.

Information about the area
From the hotel you can easily reach the Wassersleben beach in Flensburg Fjord. You can also reach the Danish island of Roem, in the North Sea, within an hour. From here you can travel by ship to the German island of Sylt.
Travelling information
Arrival on the motorway from Denmark:
- Take the last exit before the border, named Padborg.
- Here take Industrivej over the border. This becomes Ochsenweg.
- 1.5 km after the border take the first street to the right and first street to the left, Am Oxer 19.
Arrival by car on the motorway from Germany:
- Take the last exit before the border, for Harrislee, Pattburg, Flensburg.
- Take the motorway to Flensburg.
- After 1.5 km take the first street to the right and then to the left and once more to the left. This street is called Ochsenweg.
- Now go 1.5 km to the north, taking the first street to the left, Am Oxer 19.
