  The hotel was beautiful, the staff was helpful and the pool, whirlpool and sauna were wonderful. 15 minutes from Garmisch, but it was nice to be away from the busy area down there. The Dome was fantasic and across the street - I stayed at the hotel last month, no issues using the VAT (19% tax savings form for the US Military). The room was extra large, very clean, and well-equipped.   Our whole trip started out pretty bad, it was stormy and our GPS took us a weird route and to top it off our car got stuck and we spent forever to get it out with no luck so we were really late. Once we came in the lady at the front gave us no hassles and took us straight to our room (it was about 10 30 and we felt bad) Once we got to our room we ... what people say » were very impressed. Everything was clean and nice. The bathroom was amazing with a big tub and mood lighting available. In the morning breakfast was - Very good value for money. Very spacious room with a kitchen corner, large windows, a very nice view, big bathroom, excellent location, good breakfast; the hosts were attentive and responsive to our needs. Free WiFi.Thank You and Bravo! And on top of all, the restaurant which is about 150 meters up the hill is exceptional.

  This guest house is in a great location in the main street and it is easy to get around. The hosts were very practical and run a very straight forward service with good clear systems in place and information available. The rooms were good for the price paid etc. We were very comfortable. The hosts were able to make a good recommendation for dinner... what people say » for the night of the week we were there. The hosts were happy to help with our baby bottle preparation for the next day. - It is always a pleasure to stay at the Dedllerhaus. The owners are always friendly. Language is not a problem. The Location and parking are good as is the value of this hotel. The breakfast is always very good and you get a discount in their shop. Oh yeah, there is bottle beer in a fridge in the breakfast area for a good price. This is a hotel to surely consider in this beautiful little town.

We had a great time here and I highly recommend this - This was a spacious apartment with all the conveniences including cooking for a several days stay. It was well located in Oberammergau within easy walking distance of town. The owner was very helpful.& did our laundry, too. For the $Value-- this can't be beat. Although there was no wifi there was internet access through the cable. And there's a great bar--Jansen & Jansen--a block away with wifi and a friendly, English speaking owner.
