We stayed at your hotel from the 11/12 till the 15/12 for the Christmas period. The hotel was exactly in the middle of one of the Christmas Markets. For us, the location was an excellent one. It was also close to the other Christmas markets and shopping streets. We had great fun, absolutely in the middle of the christmas spirit. The breakfast had a good selection of food and it was of very good quality. The hotel was very clean, room was specious and we had 2 windows overlooking the marke. all reviews »

Great location (5-10 minutes walk to the Dome and the central station), lots of cafe's and restaurants in the vicinity clean and rather spacious rooms, restaurant that belongs to the hotel is open late, we received a free welcome drink and the food was nice.
Price is very good.
Location is perfect, on a square near to everything
Also for travellers by car (parking below the square)
Parking is €15/day which is cheaper compared to hotels that include parking
Everything was neat and clean
Nice shower!
Quiet.
Nice clean room in center of old town. We got lucky, it was "wine
Fest" and it was right outside the hotels front door, so it was
perfect. Restaurant downstairs was great and convenient.
Very clean, very helpful staff, very good food, very comfortable bed, great bathroom/shower, great location near to everything you need to see in Koln. Nice area.
The location is perfect, walking distance of the Cathedral. Rooms comfort and clean, with and incredible view, super breakfast and free drinks in restaurant.
The location was amazing, in old town and incredibly close to tons of
restaurants, bars and cafes as well as the Rhein and the Cathedral.
Wxcellent location, spotlessly clean and excellent bathroom facilities. Also foc vouchers for a drink from the bar!.

Perfect! clean, new, silence, near old city, near Dom and main station.

Could not be more central.

Large restaurant right in the building.
Very good situation from the sightseeing.

Great location, staff, and rooms.

Clean, nice, comfortable beds, very central position, at a square with many bars and restaurants, near to the city centre.

special scene
Great (rain) shower.
Good location, nice bathroom.
Location.
The relatively good location, although hard to find, and the spacious room.
Clean and renew.
There is only one thing which we didnt like. Somehow, every single night the outside noise of people talking aloud, laughing and shouting used to go on till early morning sometimes even till 0500 hrs. When we kept the windows closed the noise was completely shut off but then we needed some fresh air into the room and thus had to keep one window slightly open.
I have no complaints, but maybe it's worth mentioning that the hotel is directly at the Heumarkt, which can be busy at night and so the rooms can be a bit noisy.
Only very minor/non-important stuff:
Stone floors so it can be a little cold but the room itself is warm, flip flops are provided
Because of stone floors, the hall can be a bit noisy but the hotel itself is quiet
Seperate blankets/matrasses
Still the best hotel you can get!.
Because of the location, you hear some loud partiers outside and the
extremely loud Turks yelling outside.
No minibar in room. No extra bedding in room. The main square outside can become noisy early in the morning if you'd like to sleep in.
Nothig.
The noise from the restaurant below (in our room, 3rd floor room 11) was
really loud with the windows of our room open. It was fine when closed
but as we were there in the summer time we really needed the windows
open to cool the room down. During other seasons the sound probably
isn't a problem since the windows are pretty sound tight.
No kettle and coffee making facilities in room, but complimentary water.
It's busy very late at night outside so even with double glazing there is some noise.
No air con.
Nothing.
Service has to be improved. Since it is located in the center of city, little bit noisy at night. But it was quite okay.
Very small cupboard to hang/store clothes.
Lobby a bit off-putting. Slow to make up room.
There was construction taking place and it was very noisy very early.
Parking is very expencive 16 euro per day, if you open a window, the room becomes very noisy and we should stay in July with closed window all night, without air condition.
- Breakfast too expensive, 20 euros per person per night
- My room had windows at a yard that was the terrace of a restaurant so it was noisy throughout the day, but at night was quiet enough for sleep.
- Very late check-in, at 3 p.m.
we were located on the 1st floor beneath a function room (reception told us it was a restaurant when we complained) so were unable to sleep at night due to noise of chairs being dragged across the tiled floor. Also position of the bathroom of the room next door jutted out into our room so it sounded like they were going to the toilet in our room.
a lot of noise from outside
mouse in restaurant.
Mini flatscreen TV.
The room was quite dark and there was no aircondition.
For a rooftop room in summer, this is quite necessary.
Other than one staff member being very friendly staff were overall unhelpful.
There are quite a few things. First the attracious service, it was really appalling for laundry service, or rather the lack of it, for example. Then there are no telephones in the rooms thus the reception never contacted us, we had to chaise them all the time. Also, the hotel has no reception area at all, it looks more like the inside of a telephone booth. Overall we think it was the worst hotel we stayed at for a long time.
The room size is too small and you can hear any one walking inthe corridor or on the floor above even no carpet in the corridor so the house keeping crate is too noisy.
