  The hotel was very charming with all of its old German decor. The staff was very helpful, even though we didn't speak German. We had a lovely private room with a balcony on the 4th floor, just as we requested. The hearty breakfasts got us off to a good start each day.

It is a great place for relaxation, the rooms are very well furnished, the view is great, the staff are very nice that you feel at home and Baden Baden is just 15 min. by car . After we arrived we wanted to go for a walk and the staff advised us that the view from the top of the hill, through the vineyards was excellent at sunset. It was! It is NOT in Baden Baden (10 min drive) but is in a very beautiful and quiet area among vineyards with nice views from many rooms. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming.   Very pleasant accommodation for one or two day stay. Certainly when combined with the excellent restaurant it is a treat. Small scale hotel, the rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable. The staff (hotel/restaurant) is very helpful and friendly. All in all one feels very welcome there. I can recommend it - In a small village just outside Baden-Baden the hotel provided the ideal base from which to explore the area.
