We were very happy with all aspects of the hotel but in particular the professional attitude of all staff stands out. Very comfortable hotel in convenient central location with taxis buses and trains all very close. The Fish Tank - it was amazing, closeness to the city and the markets. The coffee machine in the room and resturant selection, breakfast was excellent. Female concierge was extremely helpful.

The Heat restaurant in the hotel was both poor quality and poor service. The double bed was actually two single beds pushed together, usecured - it kept moving apart during the night.the swimming pool was not big enough to be able to swim decently. Sauna etc disappointing as no supervision re wearing towels so it was not possible to use it unless you wanted to see others naked. signs ignored. five star ok and bar isnt open 24h, security isnt very welcome. The hotel combines the look of a modern 21st century hotel with the anonymity, massiveness and lack of service of former East Germany. Service level not more than 3 stars. Bar closed before 10 pm. Very limited room service. No hotel shop. Swimming pool did not really exist. Breakfast overpriced. Hotel bill contained several mistakes.the fact that a 5 star hotel did not include slippers and bathrobes in the room, and that the furniture was at ikea-level standards.
