The lady that recieve us was very kind. Is located very central and prety close to the Kufurtenstr U-Bahn entrance.The pension is very clean, quiet and the breakfast is very very good. Very comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet hotel. Excellent large selection of breakfast foods. Well situated. great, firendly and helpful staff, cleanness, easy access (choice of 2 underground station - 5 minutes walking). The hotel was clean and quiet. The hotel was very close to a U-Bahn stop. Room, staff and restorant. excellent location, quiet street, only 15' on foot from Potsdamer Platz, and from the other side about 15' on foot from the KaDeWe and the high class shopping area of west Berlin. Just 100m from a Metro (U Bahn) station it's very clean convenient and the breakfast (included-in-the-price) is excellent. The place is as it is...a block of appartments, where thereception and breakfast room are on the 4th floor, and the rooms are inseveral others. Therefore don't expect any funcy reception/entrance, orvalue added services... Street noise.room size is a bit too small. Our room was in street side, so first night we heard outside sounds of the cars, mostly because roadway was from pavment.The location is great but its not a really nice neighborhood, but Berlin is considered a "safe"city so no problem. Tip: always take into consideration that the U-Bahn (metro) works until 12:50 pm. If your carry heavy luggage you can take a Bus (M85) from/to the hotel to/from the main train station, its much easier!. Surrounding public on the streets. Street noice. Hotel staff english skills could be better.Rooms at the front of the hotel suffered from the noise of traffic (especially as the road was cobbled). There was no 'do not disturb' sign, and once someone knocked and walkedstraight in as I was getting dressed.It was surprising to discover that the hotel is not really marked as a hotel at all on the street. There is not lobby or reception, so you have to walk up to a somwhat hidden locked apartment house diet and press the Pension button --- no one was there when we arrived so we were uneasy and unsure that we were "in the right place" for 15 minutes until Atilla (manager) arrived. It would be helpful to spell out the HOW TO regarding checking in so that the type of property wouldn't be confusing. A suggestion for breakfast: introduce some cakes or biscuits..something sweets. the hotel could use new bedding, towels, and curtains.
