design of interior. Clean, quiet, beautiful reception, tall ceilings, I felt I had arrivedat a nice hotel, well run. Not all rooms have internet, (provided by expensive t-mobile. No ac, butfan was provided. Price for pets is far too expensive - 30 euros. Understaffed reception desk (or reception staff was busy doing something else, but invisible).

The hotel is situated just 2 S-Bahn (city rail) stations from Alexanderplatz and Berlin's central “Mitte" area, and is just 200 metres from Ostbahnhof station. "Museum Island" can be reached quickly, as can the Brandenburg Gate and Friedrichstraße (just 4 S-Bahn stations along from Ostbahnhof).

Ostbanhof station provides you with rail connections throughout the entire city. Particularly popular – and accessible by foot – is the “East Side Gallery”, probably the most famous and longest gallery in the world. Night owls will appreciate the numerous trendy bars in "Simon Dach Strasse" and the fashionable scene around the "Oberbaumbrücke".

Travelling information

From Tegel Airport:
- Take either bus X9 or bus 109 to the Zoologischer Garten station
- Change to the city train (S-Bahn) line S75, S3 or S3 and get out at Ostbahnhof
- Take the exit for Erich-Steinfurt-Straße and turn left
- You will see the City Carré Passagen. The hotel entrance is around the right-hand corner
- It takes about 2 minutes to walk to the hotel from the station
