generator is amazing.!people are very kind and food is great,free breakfast and delicious diner for 5 euro. rooms are clean,that is most important. hostel position is also great,the center of the city is only 20 min.by tram,the bus station and S-bahn are also near. Friendly staff, clean room, clean toilets. The hotel has a great structure, well equiped and pretty close to the S station. Moreover, the atmosphere is cool and we were always well recieved. Good breakfast and rooms.

Internet Wifi is not free and is more expensive than other hostels I have stayed in. Cost $2.00 euro for only 15 minutes. We had to check out at 10 already. Our flight didn't depart until 10 at night. But Generator has a luggage room, thank good. But it would have been nice to sleep in!. small rooms and very loud at night. Laundry needs better instructions - all information regarding cycle times and dryer duration is all in german, staff did not seem to know any more than what I did. Breakfast bread rolls were only fresh on one morning, other days they were rock hard - i could have smashed a window with one.. The breakfasts are a poor sort of fast food.breakfast. Impossible to sleep, teens screaming and staying in the corridors at the floors where people sleeping, no control of them.
