I stayed in Aparthaus Petnuie for a weekend, with my parents (who were travelling from India). It was their first couple of days in Europe, and the stay in the apartment made their stay really comfortable! The apartments are very well equipped (even better than I expected) and the quality of furniture and kitchenware is very good! Even the couch is so comfortable to sleep in! There are two supermarkets within 5 minutes of walking distance, so its really easy to go shop for food! There is a runn.
all reviews » Here are my recommendation for other travelers: 1) Very clean and luxury kind of apartment. It was fully furnished with almost everything required in day to day lifestyle. Landlord was kind, helpful and gave us a warm welcome. 2) Highly recommended for people travelling with family and especially have their own car. 3) Big LED TV with over 20 hollywood movies in 3D/non-3D version. 4) Free wine and chocolates were served. I like this good-will gesture :) 5) Grocery stores were located near-by. This is a small family run apartment hotel. Location - in a quiet villa quarter. Very convenient if you travel by car, city centre reachable in 15 minutes. Private parking included in price (if not available you may park very conveniently in the street). A lovely jogging track only about 500 m from the hotel. Very well equipped kitchen. Few small bottles of wine and "Knoppers" bars as "welcome pack" which is really sweet. The engaged host, helpful aslo with sightseeing tips. We will definitely . Apartmenthaus Petunie was a real find. The owner was very helpful in suggesting driving to Tempelhof U Bahn station. It's very quick on the autobahn and parking wasn't a problem. The train is then very convenient. The apartment is very well set up for a comfortable stay and is in a quiet side street. We had apartment 4 at the rear overlooking the garden. Excellent value for money if you want to be able spread out and relax after a day's sightseeing. The apartment is pretty nice, its got every necessary appliance for a tourist. The owner himself is very friendly and helpful. One of the best apartments I've ever stayed at, considering the price.
