Friendly and accommodating staff! Central location, easy to walk to museums, markets, stores, restaurants etc. Nice neighborhood. Location, ease of parking. Compact room but very well appointed, and close to the city walls. Friendly and helpful staff. The way the hotel blended with and was partof the old town and its history. the location was central. the room was nice and comfortable.

Also would suggest that, as a "mature couple", wewould have prefered a room which was not right in the roof of a hotel.Had our stay been more than one night this might have been a problem.There was no hairdryer and no information stating what the specific facilities were present. The hotel was excellent for the money, but we would have liked a kettlein our room. It is a little touch that most hotels provide now. Its aBritish thing, we do like our cup of tea first thing in the morning.the toilet facilities were very small and not very private. small bathroom, and parking can be tricky. that the staff spoke no English, so couldn't help us. would have prefered private parking but narby public parking felt safe and reasonably convenient. room was in the attic and quite small. When we came to settle the bill, the hotel charged us much more (40 Euros extra + Tax) than we had booked the hotel for. Very disappointing, I would recommend printing your booking to ensure they don't overcharge you.Not recommended for anyone - the original room we had smelt, wasvery small, bathroom terrible and shower broken. Upgaded to asomewhat marginally better room. Also needed close parking - asstated - not provided.
