  Polite, pleasant and helpful staff. Room clean, well equipped except for lack of fridge and ours had a lovely balcony, ideal for soaking up the evening sun! Comfortable bed! Very little road noise.   We had an enjoyable stay at the Chateau de Pourtales and do hope to return. Every morning we had a wonderful breakfast served in a cheerful room in the Chateau. The rooms are in the chalet next to the chateau. Our room was very comfortable with a fan, which was very nice since it was about 30 degrees Cel. during the day. The bar is self service. For € 70 per night incl. breakfast, this hotel we certainly can recommend. At the entrance of the chateau gardens is the wonderful restaurant Jardins du Portales. We really enjoyed lunch, and two times diner for a very reasonable price!
