We were there for 2 nights. We arrived in dark so it was a bit difficulty to locate the hotel and We missed the scenery around the Mont Blanc Tunnel. We were upgraded to their best 3 bedrooms unit with large balcony, very much appreciated. It is very spacious with fully size kitchen and lounge room. They provided value for the money meals. We tried dinner buffet, good varieties, cost only 14€ and 10€ for adults and children. The most good price for our 3 weeks journey in Europe. Overall We .
all reviews » Recently renovated 1930's property at a very good price for the quality. More space than typical of the popular resorts (eg Meribel Rabbit Hutches). Two seperate rooms plus usual small kitchenette and seperate shower and bath. Plenty of room for kit. About good Motel standard, Plenty of parking. Convenient for racing at St Gervais or Les Houches. Conveniently located for the local ski area. Size of room and facilities in the room. Excellent breakfast - great value. Ability to cancel the room right up until the day of the booking. Value for money for the room itself. GORGEOUS location, huge rooms, all we needed to cook and live there. We were surprised how lovely it all was, especially for the price. The location was beautiful and I can see this would be wonderful in the winter. There were a few activities and a game room for the kids, but good for 1-2 nights. The price is very cheap . Go up to the mountain , there is a very beautiful snow place " Réserve Naturelle de Passy - Chalet d'accueil ". The room was very confortable. Don't miss out the dinning periods around this region. Most of the restaurants don't offer food, even in local city centre. Rooms a litle smokey on entry but soon aired. Allow a good 15 minutes for the drive up from the autoroute - likely to need chains in mid winter. Limited menu meaning neither of my children ate an evening meal. No hot water after breakfast to have a shower. A bit up in the hills - but that created the fabulous view. No major problems. Nothing to complain about as so reasonable. The room needed some maintenance, blocked kitchen sink, tired mattresses, shower head squirting water in different directions. Steep climb up from valley, but fantastic views. Bar closes early. Would have been good to know the location of hotel - that us it takes 20 min to reach from bottom of mountain may not have chose as a stop over. But lovely location for a longer break in the area. Games room needs some updating/replacements!. No cleaning services in the price of the rooms; we had to clean up and throw away the garbage. there are some rooms lacking door in the bathroom. Nothing. No remarks. little out of place location. Foggy mountains-but of course it is no hotel foult!. The rooms are at the back of the hotel from where there is no view. Only the apartments are at the front. You enter your room through the toilet. The first room offered to us had a wash basin inside the small bed room. The location was a bit remote for a family with children in the summmer. It was quite a distance up a small windy road near the top and most supplies and facilities were at the very bottom (15 min drive) down the hill. Very basic accommodations. The room is very small , and the decoration is very old , the kitchen also very small in the same room , and the electric stove can not work. The staff was not polite or friendly at all. The kitchen closes before 21 pm!!. Lack of lights in some corridors Difficult to find (our satnav had died a few cities ago!). The room was not comfortable. Very difficult to locate. Even the locals are not aware of its existence, took us two hours from Chomonix !!. The staff were disinterested. The supper was awful and definitely not worth the price we paid. The apartment smelt strongly of stale smoke. We didn't feel we could use the shower, too icky. There was loud music playing until late at night.
