Probably the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed. The room has individual locker where you could store your expensive stuff (not large enough to put and entire backpack/suitcase though). The Bathroom, too, was very clean, modern and tidy. The nearest metro line connects directly to the Paris Nord station (get off at La Chapell and its interconnected to Paris Nord) so it was handy for me to travel with trains. Would stay again if Im visiting Paris again!.
all reviews » I was pleasantly surprised by the Loft since i had paid very little for it. A fun, welcoming atmosphere and a great location near the metro means I will most likely be returning to Paris and staying there as soon as i can!. Clientele: comfortable with fellow guests. Staff usually at desk but desk was open late for our convenience. Breakfast area and food was sufficient for a hostel. Bathroom was good: updated and clean. Its easy and central. I will b e doing a video guide on how to get there from Victorial coach station London, very soon. will post it on youtube as a guide. With cctv and customers security lockers. VERY VERY Clean, well kept and the staff was wonderful, always willing to help. Then even helped me change my train ticket (they called the help line for me and everything). Nice staff, of which one French girl actually speaks excellent English! Not located in central town but with metro station within 10 min walk so it's all right. Very nice place, really friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfy beds! With no hesitation would recommend this place for a stay in Paris. New and Clean. International and young backpackers place. Good And lovely Stuff. belleville,chinese food. A little bit of a walk from the metro station. It was a bit far from all of the attractions but close to the metro so it didnt really matter. Not various choice for breakfast but can fill your stomach for sure;. Area for breakfast quite small. the location was far from the city, however it was within 5 minutes of 2 metros. No such things. the bed is not very study, and the bathroom is extremely small. nothing particular , maybe they should block porn on their dns or Internet cos some People were looking at it and i find it disgusting as it demeans women and present them as objects of gratification. Staff too soft to control noise at night (one day, a very noisy guest was banging a door until 3 AM and staff did not control the situation). It was very cold at the room; heater didn't work. The safe didn't work. The doors make a lot of noice when they close. Location... Feels a little bit unsafe in the evening. It was inconvinient to live in a room with men only. In this room I was the only girl. The rooms are kinda small, but everything is Paris is small. Lots of noise from drunken 21yo. The sheets made me itchy. I had two hives. dunno what from. some strange staff who looked at us strongly at night. very hard to catch wi-fi and not very pleasant neighborhood. Isn't the nicest part of Paris. One staff member in particular was VERY rude - for example: when we asked if our room was ready she continued to talk to another staff member for about ten minutes while we stood there and waited for her to bother to reply. The Loft is not in the best area in terms of nice restaurants or the like. If you look for a typical french thing choose a different hostel. Tiny Rooms, bad breakfest. everything else. too small, 109€ for a twin room is expensive ,the beds were military style barracks, just simply horrible. we stayed in the bercy suite near batofar and we paid 100 for a 3 bed room, with tv etc, nice big room and FANTASTIC. Very bad staff, bad attitute, dirty.
