My 17 days stay in Residence Nell was perfect. I booked a classical apartment, and it's a real apartment consisting of a living room with a kitchenette, a bedroom, and a bathroom. Everything is clean, stylish, and modern. The living room is pretty large, with a comfortable sofa, flat screen TV, and dining zone. The kitchenette has all necessary amenities (stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine... up to champagne glasses, dish cloths, and apron). Tea, coffee capsules and suga.
all reviews » The hotel location is very convenient with many cafes, grocery stores and metro stations nearby. The room (bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom) was well equipped and very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The staff at the front desk was very professional, attentive, helpful and kind. Elsa, Xavier and the lady on duty the day of our departure (1/12/13 around 12:00 pm) were particularly outstanding on their performance. We truly felt this was our home away from home. We had a great experience and. Great location - lots of good shops, restaurants etc locally and really handy fir metro and tour bus We stayed here with our 11 year old granddaughter and it was perfect, enough space, comfy beds and good facilities. She loved it. Everything was perfect perfect perfect!! Walking distance to galeries lafayette / printemps / halal food cafes and Hotel Holiday Villa/ Le Petit Gourmet (halal fine French food) tqtqtqtq. Fresh fit-out, quality fittings and furnishings, great linen, well-positioned, opportunity to watch street life from our windows, light and bright, i-pod dock, nespresso machine etc etc. The staff were excellent, could not be faulted. If there were a small table or shelf next to the mirror (to put cosmetics while making up), and a drawer in the bedroom to keep small stuff, I would give it 11 points out of 10. One of the house keepers would always show up/disturb before noon and so we either had to call reception to arrange some time extension, negotiate with the room keeper herself via signs as she did not speak English, or leave the room in a rush to avoid not having it cleaned. The WIFI/internet connection dropped too many times. The bathroom ceramic tiles coming off of the floor. Bit noisy at night but to be expected given the range of nearby restaurants and bars. more hooks in bathroom for hanging towels / gowns etc, more shelf or storage space in bathroom for toiletries; also we would have preferred that the double bed was actually two singles which could be pushed together or separated depending on guest demographics. It was across the road from a fantastic chocolate shop that didn't help my diet. Nothing negative about this place at all. The area of the room is so small. Cot not automatically included when booking with a baby, needs to be specifically requested First floor room noisy at night. A bit hard to find the entrance, but do trust the GPS. Front Desk staff weren't as readily available. My hotel room door was left unlocked by the housekeeping staff. AC in the middle of a very hot July didn't get the job done. None. The room was small for a family of 4. no swimming pool :-(. Carpet on bathroom floor! Disgusting and very British idea. Also the internet was constsntly disconnected. Very noisy Bathroom was in a less than pristine shape Building lights were directed right at our windows, so it was fairly bright at night.
