We went to paris to celebrate my 30th birthday. Eiffel Trocadero was everything we hoped for and more! We had booked a deluxe room with view and upon arrival were upgraded to the Eiffel suite on the top floor, the best room in the hotel. The room was amazing and the view of the Eiffel Tower was magnificent! This hotel exceeded our expectations and made our trip very enjoyable. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the hotel was immaculate. We will definitely return.
all reviews » The bed was fantastic. Very comfy all round! The room was a lovely place to be in, the bath was a good jet bath which always had a supply of hot water. The staff were always very friendly and willing to share information about Paris, and most spoke very good English. The hotel in general was very stylish with lovely decor in the communal areas. The staff were amazing and could not be more helpful or friendly. The hotel was a truly boutique experience in a wonderful area and close to amenities. Breakfast was delicious and very good value. As a young couple it was a very romantic getaway. We wish we had stayed longer and will definitely return in the next two years. The staff were amazing. Christian, Kamal, Samir, and Jerome all went above and beyond the call of duty in recommending places to eat, searching for laundry facilities, getting a Parisian's take on what to do and what to avoid. Very accommodating staff and understanding of my limited French speaking capabilities :) The hotel and rooms are decorated very nicely, the bathrooms are gorgeous!. Kind staff, comfortable room etc. Especially, one of staff, who worked on 4th May during daytime (I don't remember his name), was so kind and effectively organized where to go. I plan to stay next month when I go to Paris. Everything staff were so helpful and friendly even made us a coffee as we were too early for our transfer home! Would defiantly go back to this hotel. The restaurant area wasn't very big which we didn't use at all as we always went out as it is just the bar area that combines into a dining area. Although this area is very nice, it is a bit unsuited to dining. The drinks were very expensive, but then so is the rest of Paris..!. The view of the tower was a little disappointing, you see less than half of the top part of it. But it's a very short walk so we didnt mind, just thought it would have been more to see from the window. Nothing. Room was abit small but it's all you need for 2 days in Paris. Not a lot not to like. The only negative for me was that I arrived late in the evening (C. 10pm) and the restaurant was closed, so I wandered out to get something to eat. Earlier Start for breakfast Than 7:30am. Wifi on only one device at a time, a big problem for it persons. - Rooms are small in size. - Breakfast is not great. Small room, ok we expected that. Leaking tub, water on floor every time you used the shower. This was reported to staff and they tried to fix but failed. We expected self services laundry and was told there was none. Some repairs were being done upstairs and there was noise during the day, but overall the stay was very pleasant. Telephone was about 1 euro/minute for local calls, so don't use it!. Value for money. pilows on a flor after cleaning. Finding parking, that the jacuzzi was not working!. A little expensive - but that is Paris!. The room was too small for the price. single glazing at the windows. Price. The toilet (separate from the bathroom) was so small you could hardly sit in it. Room too small - booked and was confirmed as 'SPACIOUS' twin room. Didn't book family room. Not suitable for two adults sharing. Only one mirror - two adult women vying to get ready at the same time !!! Breakfast very disappointing. very very small. Room was like a fridge. Heating seemed to be operating for about 15mins at a time. Breakfast quite limited, typical paris tourist hotel level. Rooms to small. Internet access is not good. I was supposed to have a view of the Eiffel tower and paid extra for it only to turn up and only be able to see the extreme tip of it! buyers beware!. When using spa bath black bits came out of the jets. There was building work for the duration of our stay! When ordered drinks from hotel there was flys in our drinks. The room was a reasonable size but the bathroom was quite cramped and a bit of a tight squeeze. It's major selling point is its location, but that said, still not great value for 200 Euros per night. Paid an extra €70 for a tower view which meant i got to see an extra 1metre of the tower compared to our friends who did not pay the extra. (Tower view was poor also). The hotel just ruined our honeymoon .. My reserved room was overbooked when I arrived there so I had to stay in another room for 3 nights to get my room back on the 4th night .. The manager of staff "Xavier" wasn't helpful to fix this mistake .. Overall the rooms are so small .. the only view of the eiffel tower that you will see is just the top, that's on the highest floor "6th" .. down to the 3rd floor you will see nothing !! so don't be surprised !!.
