Very welcoming and willing to accommodate a group of 14 high school students and two teachers. We arrived late morning and we were able to leave our cases in our rooms even though they had not been completely prepared at that time. The beds were very comfortable with crisp white linens. We really appreciated having someone on duty all night at the front desk. right next to the metro station. in the middle of a busy area. lots of bars and restaurants nearby. the room was fine. the staff was helpful. we reached the hotel a few hours before out check in time but the staff accommodated us.
all reviews » Staff was very friendly and helpful. And it was near metro station so it was easy to travel aroud city. Room was normal size but bathroom was a little bit narrow. The location was excellent. Very close to the tube station and walking distance to St Martins canal and central Paris. Rooms were a good size with decent beds. the rooms are so spacious, the staff very helpful, and it is located near to the metro station - everything is accessible. It is always hard to manipulate cases in a small elevator but at least there was one! We were offered breakfast in our rooms as the breakfast room was not in operation. We declined because of being a school group. The bathroom space was tight though the shower was reasonable. internet was not free and breakfast was kind of expensive.not exactly the city center. the street was noisy at night due to drunk people roaming around and there was no air con, which made it quite hot even in early september. There was no air conditioning but the room temperature was fine so not a problem in early summer. And the bathroom was quite small. No air-conditioning, and quite a bit of traffic noise with the windows open. On arrival the bathroom was not very clean. Extra pillows requested did not look very clean. Toilet flushing was noisy. Only a hand held shower, no hook to fix it on so one can stand hands free under the shower. Staff was not very helpful, although extremely chatty. Shower cabin was smallest I've ever seen. Price a bit to high for a two-star hotel. No airco. Very limited breakfast. Not all staff speaks English. Minescule toilet & shower. Parking on street is problematic (need to get a new ticket every 4 hours, which is not practical during a sight-seeing vacation), deal with parking garage available (20,- EUR p/day) but staff of parking garage doesn't (want to) speak English. The shower was very mouldy and didn't didnt appear to get cleaned at all either before or during our stay. Small bathroom noisy location. The hotel was very basic, but this is what you expect from 2 star hotels. it was too hot in Paris when we arrived and as there were no air-con, it was too hot first two days and we needed to open the windows all night, but there was a loud noise from the streets. Erything looks old and worn, the bathroom was quite ugly. - really small bathroom (and room). bathroom small. Clean Toilet and bathroon very small with very bad odor. the shower stalls weren't the cleanest.....meaning there was some mildew present. The room is very hot and very noisy. Moreover, the toilet is very small. Bare electrical wires in bathrooms (2 rooms) Flood through ceiling (1 room) No seats on toilets (2 rooms) No shower curtains (2 rooms) Used condom on stairs Towels not replaced Toiletries not replaced Unpleasant manager who didn't care. No airco nor ventilator which made it uncomfortably hot in our room (5th floor) When we asked for a table ventilator or such they said it was not neccesary as it was normally not so hot. Our bedsheets were also not changed in 4 nights even though it was 30+ degrees every day. Guess what??? We found a mice in the room , they gave us the worst room in the hotel, I change 4 rooms in 5 days, they don't change the bed linen the cleaning is the worst. One of the baddest hotel in the world, they charge me more than the booking site . very dirty and uncomfortable. - Minuscule bathroom - Non english speaking staff with attitude - No A/C, fan, nothing to cool the rooms.
