Have previously stayed at this hotel, which was why we came back. Staff extremely polite and helpful, hotel clean and well situated for my need during the stay. (Was visiting Paris to attend the French open tennis championships). Great location. Bus is 2 blocks away. Supermarket half a block from hotel. Staff is very friendly, especially Mohamed. Family member's wallet was stolen at Notre Dame and he helped us cancel credit cards. Hotel is very clean.

Room servises sometime not posible to contact....Inexplicably it would sometimes start smelling like sewer in our room.Very strange and at random times. needs a bit of redecoration--walls and some minor things in toilet.Problems with too much heat and inability to regulate room temperature, no english language news channel, booking not charged at time of booking, so no assurance of booking upon arrival since no charge made until after stay. the breakfast was a bit different from what I ordered and it was served on a tray , the bed didnt have nice duvet and it was 2 single beds joined together. internet aces in the loby of the hotel 8 euro for 30 min. ????. The breakfast was not included and was expensive at 16 Euros per person per day.It was a bit more expensive than I really wanted, but the rest of the wedding party were staying here and we wanted to be together. the last day the wc went wrong. Cost of breakfast was a bit pricey. You can hear conversation from all surrounding rooms. The price of breakfast was too high. Getting phoned by staff when there was a do not disturb sign on the door. The lobby was rather shabby but I would still stay here again. Not many (decent) resturants in the area and room service didn't offer much of a selection.The food in the bar was 'microwave-cuisine' but just as expensive as a meal in a local restaurant. Too expensive for breakfast. the attitude of the reception staff in the day of leaving; we left the hotel at 6am, we were delayed 20min because nobody was at the reception and when come back the behaviour was very rude, aggressive and they tried to charge us twice for the room (even we paid one day before, they tried to charge once again when we left). finally no appologies and they hardly accept to help with a taxi. It was difficult to find - taxi drivers had difficulty locating it. The food available was poor and overpriced and the bar person was not helpful.Noise in the room of outside the room (people in the hall, the street). too isolated to the main street and no nightlife around the hotel. The superior room we received was dark and gloomly, with no natural light. There was a real musty smell in the room, when we asked about a change in room we were not offered another room. Room had holes in walls, The air conditioning did not work in either of the two rooms we booked, walls were very dirty in one of the rooms. On our 1st night we were awoken at 11.15pm by another person trying toget into our room, they had been checked into the same room as us. Thecleaners were very noisey in the mornings, we felt more tired by the endof the break than when we 1st arrived! There isn't really much near thehotel, so we had to walk quite a distance to find anywhere to eat (onlyone nice place just up the road). bath tub drain was blocked, toilet not flushing well. Bar. The first day we didn't got the room cleaned!! General manager was not available on weekends.not enough staff at reception. inconvenient room light switches. noisy.
