What people say
Very helpful lady on the desk when we arrived. Gave us good directions
to key attractions and answered all of our questions. Also booked us an
airport shuttle.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the location is excellent for a short break holiday. Nearby there are good bistro's cafes and restaurants.
Price is most likely best in 1ere arrondissement. Close to Latin
Quarter and budget restaurants, many offerings of 10-12 euros for 3
course dinners. all reviews »
nice hotel but old-fashioned interior. No elevator but it was allowed to leave the heavy luggage on the first floor.
great location.
Convenient to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, etc. Very
reasonably priced, very friendly, helpful staff.
Friendly staff, good location and good price. Comfortable bed. Good wifi in bar area.
The location, the warm and cleanness of the room and a value for money proposal.
Location, near everywhere, people at reception desk is cool and helpful.
The location is very convenient. The room is clean and staffs friendly.
People at the hotel were very kind everytime i asked for something.
Personal were very friendly and helpfull.
Location of the hotel.
A very good location in the city centre, close to the sights.
Exellent staff, brilliant location, relaxing atmosphere.
Loved the location and friendly helpful staff.
Very friendly staff. Great location.
Location and staff was great!.
location and friendly staff.
Good staff.
location.
The only good point of this hotel is its situation in the city center, close to main touristic points and different subways stations. People at reception are quite kind .
Rooms are clean, though very old, and beds are comfortable enough.
I recommend this hotel to people who want to be in the city center and don't find another cheaper or better hotel in the area, but be aware that it's pretty shitty.
Very good location. Walking distance -10 min.- to main museums (Luvr, Orse) and places of interest Notr-Dam. Opera. Internet was for free in the room.
Location is excellent, few minutes walk from metro. Staffs are very friendly and the service is very good.
The location was fabulous. Easy walking distance to the Louvre and to the Ile de Cite.
Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Loaction very close to the Louve.
The staff was friendly and the price rather low for such a nice location.
The staff were fantastic, as was the location.
The lady at reception was friendly and helpful.
El staff muy competente y cordial.
El trato gentil del personal.
Location and budget!.
Very well located for the Louvre, Pompidou Centre and Chatelet-les-Halles. Some very reasonable regionl French resturants in the surrounding streets.
The price.
The staff was friendly and the hotel is very central, but that is really all you can mention on a positive side.
Not much that I liked. The lady in the reception was friendly and the location was good.
the sheets and towels were clean... the staff friendly.
Location was great.
Excellent location.
The situation.
Carrying two bags each up five very narrow flights of stairs (no lift)
and no air conditioning - it was very hot and we know you shouldn't
leave windows open at night.
Being on the top floor the stairs with luggage are not for the faint hearted.
82 steps up a narrow winding staircase quite a challenge for a couple
retirees but we learned quickly to do it once per day.
wi-fi
small bathroom.
Bed was not the most comfortable. Shower was approx 18" square. A
little tight for an American size person.
No lift. No air conditioning - noisy bar until the early hours on the other side of the road required windows to be shut - but there was no a/c! It was just OK for me, but would be a problem in warm weather.
The bathroom, when I got a shower all the water poored out of the place.
Climb 5 stages up, with a 25kg luggage....
The Wifi is not available in room, and not stable in public area.
The re is no lift, but that's pretty common in París hotels.
wi-fi.
The absence of the free wi-fi and of the tv. At night it is noisy outside because of the opposite bar.
Bathroom too small. Stairs a bit tiresome and difficult to negotiate.
Showers super tiny. Be prepared to wear the shower curtain as a coat while taking a shower.
Difficult spiral staircase and night noise made it difficult to sleep.
the shower!!.
Considering the price that they charge for the rooms, they could at least paint the walls, rooms and furniture are old and in bad conditions.
The bathroom it's tinny, but hot water works.
No tv, and very expensive WIFi.
Very shaby room, dirty narrow stairs. Very small bathroom. I could hardly take a shower.
No wifi above second floor.
Room decoration is not very nice.
Room 11 was very small, with the shower practically impossible to use without getting water all over. No elevators. Very noisy. Water ran sporadically hot and cold.
shower is the smallest i have ever used, in fact almost impossible, to use, bath towels were very small with holes in them. Rooms were very tired looking.
Do not have huge expectations when it comes to comfort.
Quite simply, it was the worst accommodation we have ever had. Small,
dingy, urgently in need of refurbishment, and no lift ( narrow stairs,
to 5 floors ). It was full every night, so why should they worry ???
Paris is wonderful, but the standard of accommodation at the budget end
is truly woeful.
I was on the 5th Floor and there is no lift. also the en-suite is tiny im 5ft 11 inches tall and you have to sit on the toilet sideways as my knees would hit the door frame. the bathroom is far too small.
El baño muy pequeño.
El baño muy pequeño y con opción de inundarse.
The shower was the smallest we have ever used.
The pillow. wifi only avalble in the br.
The hotel needs desperately renovation. The rooms are tiny, dark, old and dirty. I have never ever seen such a tiny bathroom where you cannot event fit into the shower. As a normal sized person! On top of that you get one tiny towel for your stay. The enterieur is at least 30 years old. This is by far the worst hotel I ever stayed in and I would not recommend it to anyone.
The bathroom doesn't have a door, only a wooden panel that doesn't even close properly. There is no elevator and the stairways are narrow. The room is extremely old. The bed doesn't have a proper cushion. The room didn't feel very clean either. It would be worth maximum 50 EUR a night per room, while we paid double. I don't recommend you stay here for this price.
the whole place could do with being updated , rooms were small , showers un usalbe [to small] i, seen bigger wardrobes,, the floors very grubby..
No wifi in the room. There were holes in the bathroom, cleanliness in the room was lacking. It needs renovation.
Cramped, old, improvised, no tv, awful bath, for 100 euros a night
definitely not worth the money!.
Too small room
No TV.
Very dirty! The shower very small and from the crane with hot water
drips water and burns!!!.
