The location of the hotel is central and our junior suit was beautiful with stylish romantic decoration and a nice jacuzi in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and always helpful. Shower was also quite small, glad I lost the weight I had, else I would not have fit into it. Very minor complaints. Shower was tiny. For example, my husband is 6 ft 2 in tall, 220lbs, and couldn't turn around to clean his back without bumping the knob and turning the water off. The room safe was too small to leave a laptop computer.The lift is very small so had to make a couple of trips with luggages. No real bar and bar area, which also wasn't manned. We had to ask theReceptionist to serve us drinks. Found drinks and items in mini bar inroom very expensive.Superior room was quite small with not much clothes space. Security could have been better. Requirement to leave room key at the front desk is fine, but then to get it back I would have appreciated an identity check of sorts beyond merely stating the room number.The breakfast seemed expensive so we decided not to pay for it and eatbreakfast outside each morning. found on 1st night that jacuzzi didnt work, and upon reporting it was told that nothing could be done until the next morning. Staff suggested a room change but didn't happen due to late evening return after sightseeing. No hangers in one wardrobe, no hangers or shelf in other. Shower flooded the bathroom unless showerhead pointed in certain direction.Perhaps not as 'deluxe' as a deluxe room should be.Rooms were small, shower water ran onto the floor. Breakfast was not included, no free wireless internet access (10 euro per day).Very small and cramped...but fitting to the period I suppose. Shower quite small. Tap in sink was loose. I would recommend to friends for only a short stay. A lot of stairs from the street made getting luggage inside difficult. Tiny elevator and multiple levels inside made for more difficulties. The room was tiny for the price, leaks in bathroom floor, not much room for setting out toiletries. There was no hot water at 11 pm when I wanted to take a shower. TV did not work well, no globes in bedside lamps, tiny tiny shower cubicle. There were some issues with my room and I was pretty unimpressed with the way the hotle staff handled this - spoilt my stay really. I would possilbly still recommend this hotel to others...the plusses out weigh the minuses. Room was very small and it and the bathroom and the balcony were in need of some serious refurbishment, if that was deluxe I hate to think what standard is like!! Selection of fruit at breakfast was poor and tired looking or else out of a tin. The hotel is totaly out dated, absolutely no value for money. Breakfast is a joke (only cheese and jelly with bread).
