I chose this hotel mainly because it was close to the airport (about 10 mins taxi ride away- expect to pay 16-18 euros each way). We arrived at about 2pm, and only noticed upon arrival it had a 5pm check-in. I phoned the manager (whose number was on the gate) and he kindly let us in (which we were grateful for as we were pretty tired after an early morning flight). Perfect value for what you pay for. Room is small, but again, it is budget. Great courtyard to wait for people while they get ready. It was clean and within walking distance of markets and restaurants....quite the find, especially being so affordable. I had the best night sleep here after 10 days travelling in France. Even though it was a 1 star it was far superior to a lot of 3 star hotels I stayed in in Nice and Marseilles. The staff were great. Very friendly and even though I don't speak French I didn't feel uncomfortable speaking English them. perfect location to get to the airport but also an enjoyable walk to nice center.
