Very clean hotel close to city center, the metro is close to the hotel too. Till Belcour place is about 10 minutes. It is really 4 stars hotel. I think the hotel just after reparing. There is kitchen contents all needs for prepare breakfast or other meal, so you don't need pay over in restaurant, the supermarkets are close too. I can recommend it to people that looking for good hotel for good price.
all reviews » Very good room arrangement for suiting my family 4 of us. There is a big bed composed with 2 single bed and one comfortable sofa bed. Two rooms are partially separated with high loof. Brand new walls in the rooms, combination of white and rouge, gave us relaxed feeling after a long driving. Wooden floor and large windows are enriching entire atmosphere. Great hotel with everything we needed as far as facilities were concerned except no Internet service available for 3 days. The person on the front desk appeared apathetic about this and offered no apologies or effort to provide us with any info to help us plan our weekend , we were depending on Internet to find restaurants , book tickets etc. Bed was very big & comfortable, bathroom luxurious. The whole flat was exceptionally clean. All the facilities were present for making meals & breakfast (Except the food, you have to provide that) Well positioned in the City. Parking on street, if you are lucky, free overnight. Within walking distance of river but metro outside. This is a modern, clean and comfortable aparthotel with very easy access to the metro system. My room was large, bright and comfortable and had a well supplied kitchenette if one wanted to prepare light meals oneself. The hotel Breakfast, (9 euro extra) while not exceptional, was good value. The room had comprehensive apartment facilities and cooking equipment. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. He advised us of two good nearby restaurants, one for each of our two nights. The room was good size and well laid out. Good location and handy to city centre a sight seeing. Modern structure. Friendliness of the staff --Charles and Manuella. I had difficulty in going on-line with my computer; I sought help from Charles, he too had difficulty but persisted for about 40 mins. Until we succeeded in connecting to the internet. I appreciated that very much. Second time staying there and second time satisfied. The hotel match the area we want to stay in, and the center is at underground reach in a few minutes. The value for money is good, and you are in a quartier that is very nice to visit, pure France. The hotel is really new and we got a studio with a good kitchen structure. It has a parking lot and is just outside to subway stations. It's in a student's neibourghood and easy to move to the buzz part of the town. The staff was kind and attentive. Great apart hotel, rooms are styled nice. The subway is nearby and also just a few minutes away from lovely restaurants and a bakery. In august parking was free in the street. And the spa with a rooftop hot tub was lovely after a day of walking!. Nice and spacious flat with a kitchen. The location is nice but not so close to the city centre. Nonetheless a metro station very close to the hotel (100m) permits to get the city centre in 5 minutes. Possibility to park your car all around. Whole set of the kitchen inventory; Late check-in was not a problem if you call in advance before the desk is closed. Staff unhelpful and a bit apathetic. Nothing to dislike. I had not noted before travelling that the room would not be serviced during my stay but this was not a huge problem for me. There were about 20 TV channels... but no English news channel although one channel did show some English programming. A small negative is the convoluted car park and access from car park to rooms. This was not a serious problem. The difficulty we had in finding the place even with a gps; it took us 2 hours 'driving around in circles' before we found the place, but we met some very helpful and friendly people in the process. The people we met in Lyon were very nice. We are biased by the proximity to our son address, but perhaps it's not a centric hotel. Anyway, the underground is easy and fast. Since the hotel apparently just opened there are a few areas, especially the garage, that are still not quite finished, with little light and directions. nothing. Nothing. Location is not that bad if you travel by car. The breakfast was limited and at 9 euros per adult left a lot to be desired. Would help with a bit more variety. If you were a bit late you would probably not get a few items like fruit salad, which how ever would be better if it was fresh rather than tinned ones. The lock on my balcony door failed the day after I arrived. Although the door was secured promptly, the lock was not fixed during my 10 day stay and I was unable to access the bacony. The car park was small and difficult to use. No complaints! A very good choice for us, a party of 2 couples. The toilet is in a separate room from the tub/shower and vanity. it was a minor inconvenience to have to change rooms to wash our hands after using the toilet. Minor bother was that Connection to wifi was a little difficult at times, but it was available. The lift is a little scary and very, very slow. Gravel area for dragging bags over to the apartment, no change of towels in the 6 nights we were there although we new this it should be done given the washing was 8 euro. A bit off the city center but 2km is not too much. room is a bit small. The hotel is like a labyrinth. It is not easy to find a way around as signage is not clear enough. I thought the roof top is freely accessible but is not as it is where the spa is located. Location, quite far away from the city center. Signage from the garage to our hotel room was poor and at it was a bit of a walk along unprepossessing corridors. Location too quiet, too far outside Lyon, 25 mins in Taxi 65Euros Not much entertainment at night, I struggled to find nice Restaurant. Curtains missing in the living room area, which provided no privacy for the person sleeping on the sofa bed. The photos show the family room much bigger than they are. The dish washer is smaller than the provided plates, fortunately a free kit was provided at the lobby. Small room, no proper space for eating. Check out 11 but if you have time to spend in Lyon they keep your lagguages. Breakfast 11euro, we prefer to eat outside. A bit away from downtown. ho the cartins is horrible that don't hide the light from outside must do something about them :-(. Insufficient wardrobe space. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and everything was extra, for example: Breakfast is 9euros per day and to rent the spa for 2 hours it costs 10euros per person, all this was explained in the pre booking info but these are services that usually come free!. Nothing in the way of cafes or restaurants in the neighbourhood. Poor breakfast selection, some of the fruit was going soft and had little flies on them. If you wanted to use the spa that is shown on the hotel advertisement you have to pay per 2 hours. Internet painfully slow, unless you pay for faster connection. Room cleaning available for extra cost. No detergent for washing dishes, I had to use shower Gel. Access to underground parking from the rooms is difficult with small kids (or elderly person) as you must use stairs. Another television in the principal room. Parking.
