We was in hotel in summer. Own car is necessarily! The cottage is fairly cozy. The swimming pool (infant and adult) is very clean and fairly big. The staff is very friendly and hardworking. The tennis court is very good. We were playing every morning, tennis equipment you can take rent (2,5 EUR the tennis racket, 1EUR the ball). The hotel located in very convenient place. We was in Evian, Montre, Geneve.
all reviews » A wonderful hotel! Comfortable new rooms, well-equipped kitchen, a delightful view of the lake, the mountains and the shore of the Switzerland. Clean air, a swimming pool and a tennis court, a good Internet. Good location on the border with Switzerland, in a convenient day-trips around the Swiss Alps and in French Alps and in small authentic towns. very good environmant, it's located in the half way up the hill, no easy to reach. but you will not dissapiont once you get there. you could cook for yourself there. you will hear bird singing in the morning. but only for self drive visiter. we like this flat hotel. I've stayed at the hotel in summer. The place is very quiet. It's far from any places of interest and supposed only for those who travel by car. Nice little kitchen with a fridge and microvawe allows you too make breakfasts and dinners. WiFi was OK. We really enjoyed our stay. We booked it spontaneously and it was very good choise. If you wish to have some rest - stay here. Heaven!. Amazing view of Alps and Lake Leman Lovely chalet and apartment for vacation Easy to reach from Geneve and Lausanne. The size of the pool was big. Birds are singing around and if you like nature you would love the area. - Reasonable rates - Position vis-a-vis Lake Lacman, Switserland, French skiing resorts. Clean and well organised, pool was good. Nice quite place and nature area clean ,. The setting was nice. the location is very high in the mountains . if you do not like such places i recommend to select other location at the main city also the road to the location is very hard and scary specially at night very narrow , angle ,dark and hard driving. It's very hard to find the hotel without detailed instructions (I recommend to ask for instructions before arriving). Be ready that no one will clean the rooms or take out your litter - you have to do it on your own. It was quite difficult to find this place. There are some little boards which are unclear and unrecognisable. The address exist in GPS Navigation. The best way to find it: From Lugrin follow the way to Thollon and than ask someone :-). No dishcloth and dishwashing detergent No renewed toilet paper. There was no nearby to eat. There should be explanation on how to contact Taxi especially on a Sunday when there is nobody at reception for persons who do not have a car. Reception not staffed all the day Shower water spread onto bathroom floor. A bit far from main route. A long way drive between the mountain, especially in the everning. , but it isn´t possible to find it without autonavigation. nothing. Road is narrow and you have to drive approximately 2 miles from the lake. There are no shopping facilities nearby, definitely need car. The nearest grocery shop is approximately 4 miles away. - In winter after snow fall, there is a huge problem with a certain section of the private ( ?) road leading to complex which can play havoc with your plans for departure in the morning. Steep section of the road is not cleared imeously in the mornings after snow fall. - I got the impression the staff is rather unconcerned with the chaos caused to all their guests - You certainly need CHAINS on the tyres after snowfall. Fairly expensive, no on-site shop for basics such as fresh bread in the morning, nearest town is a 5Km drive each way. Cooking facilities are very limited, only a microwave comi-oven, and electric hob, so not easy to cook properly. Some inventory items were missing or damaged so had to report them to avoid extortionate charges. too many steps and ramps, not suitable for poor mobility guests. Also breakfast was not worth 9 Euros hardly any food available.
