  The location was brilliant, on a quiet street close to the pedestrian centre of Lille. It is a 4 guest room B&B in a 140 year old town house - but what rooms and what a house. The décor was faultless and the standard of cleanliness up with the best we have ever encountered - anywhere! Nothing was too much trouble - from collection and return to the railway station in Denis's London taxi to a totally unexpected - Our stay at La Maison was all and more than we expected. Much has already been said by others- but this B and B is very special. Luxurious, spacious, spotlessly clean, and the owners and hosts look after every need. Breakfasts were generous and filling- you wont really need lunch! We were picked up from the station in Denis' London cab- and from that moment we were offered the highest standard of service and care. Thankyou Maison- we loved our stay.   Owner was most gracious in accepting an error I made in my reservation, which caused her to have to spend some time waiting for my partner and I. The facility itself is excellently located in the center of Lille, close to all attractions. In addition, the apartment is very well equipped, with all amenities provided - especially the washing machine... what people say » which was much appreciated. Parking is very secure (separate garage). WiFi worked well. Would recommend without reservation. - We really enjoyed our stay in Home Sweet Lille. Place is comfortable, very clean and well equipped. The hostess was extremely helpful and nice. We can recommend this place for stay during city holidays and shopping tours.
