  Helpful and cheerful staff. Neither bedside light worked, so I pointed this out to the lady on reception. She immediately sent up a repair man who fixed it by plugging in the lamps to the wall socket - whoops. The pool's OK but a little claustraphobic; surroundings and decor are very pleasant and the room was easy to get and keep warm. We sampled this on the first morning, then went across the road to PifPaf where a breakfast with go - One of the better French 2star hotels. We would definitely go there again. Quiet setting with large garden well equipped for relaxing. Small indoor pool. Lift. Comfortable clean bedrooms plenty of space, bath/shower room. Good breakfast in large sunny room with attentive service. Friendly helpful staff speak some English. Pension rate looks good value and we ate an evening dinner on arrival which was nicely cooked and served, the menu not very adventurous but very tasty and substantial. Close t

  The apartment was great, nothing fancy, but very comfortable and clean, it had everything we needed, we had our two dogs with us and there were at least three other dogs holidaying with owners there, you would never have guessed that dogs had ever been in the apartment, the owners we very dog friendly. The hot tub was lovely and as you had to book... what people say » it it was private. Also only yards from the free ski bus stop. - Clean room kept clean throughout stay. Pristine bathroom. Easy access day and night. Wonderful area and interesting small mountain town.

  Great views of mountain. Good location - walk to restaurants and shops in lovely Mont Dore in 2 mins. Very good staff, answered questions, advised on skibus, skihire etc. Spa staff kindly let us relax and change after last day prior to long drive home. Good modern bathrooms, and decent beds.   Kitchen was the best-equipped I have seen for such apartments, and immaculate. Charming decor. Lots of room to unpack. Nice high ceilings and other features of an older building. Quiet street but an easy walk to shops and attractions. Great space for a family. Great to have laundry.
