The location of La Ginabelle is excellent, within a 2 minute walk from the railway station. Our apartment (for 6 although we were only 2) was spacious and well-equipped, with a balcony overlooking the garden and a bedroom with an ensuite. The staff were helpful and responded quickly to any requests. There was a supermarket nearby and it was only a short walk to the centre of town or the cable car station for Aiguille du Midi. The view from our room was wonderful, all the alpes and mainly the Mont Blanc. You can park the car for 6 euros per nigth underground the hotel or free in 100 meters far from the hotel (in front of Mediatech across the street)

Kitchen very well equipped.
2 bedroom apartment very spacious, 2 bathrooms clean and kitchen well equipped. We travelled with 2 other couples and all ate together and found accommodation excellent. Very well positioned for shops, restaurants and sight seeing.
Location was great. The staff was real helpful, especially the blond
girl that provided us with real good information of the area. Condo was
large with 2 bedrooms & 2 baths.
Nicely appointed room which was spacious, clean and warm. Nice views over the mountains. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Facilities good. Used the pool and saunas.

Not far from the center of Chamonix. About 12 min walk to L'Aiguille
du Midi lift, 5 min walk to the lift Montenvers. Room ( it was № 10 )
with separate bathroom, toilet and shower. A cozy room, but for 3-4
people maximum. The kitchen equipped quite enough. Sauna, swimming pool
(10m long though ..), bathrobes (just 2 pieces per room free).
Situation is great - can walk to town, the lifts. Beds ara ok and linnen nice. Rooms were clean and well equiped.

Reception was not open all day. Lack of English speaking channels on the TV, although this helped improve our French!.

Arrived late and picked up room key and welcome pack from the safe outside reception. All good except there was no mention of car parking. Could not gain access to the car park on the premises. so had to find a spot in a nearby street and hope I wouldn't get a parking ticket. A little guide to parking would have been helpful. Also right nest to train station and a main road. So not the quietest location.
I could not use the pool because it closes 19:45.
I think it´s too early for end of spring and summer, when tourists come and go and the day goes until 22hs. I just arrived at the hotel almost 21hs, and it as closed.
Not a big trouble, just a suggestion to improvement.
Limited access wifi and we thought there may be dvd player as there was no english language tv.
The staff are not very friendly. And most people around does not speak English.

Windows and a balcony (app № 10) overlooks a busy road, before it
literally 10 meters. There's green hedge, but still the windows do
not open, do not sit on the balcony, in the early morning cars clearly
audible... We were in the autumn ( September 26-29, 3 persons ) and felt
like not enough wardrobes, in winter it will be felt more acutely ...
Sauna and swimming pool just till 7pm ( hopefully in winter should be
longer ? ).
The rooms smelt of cigarettes - apparently smoking is allowed.
It's getting a bit run down. The pool is very small and treated with too much chlorine (no ventilation!).
