Located a 6-minute walk from the Aiguille du Midi ski lift in Chamonix, Le Prieuré offers ski equipment hire on site. It has south-facing rooms, some of them facing Mont Blanc. Easy to find, friendly staff, quiet,cosy, and clean good size of room and bathroom. We asked some info where to eat. Their recommendation was excellent. Our stay was somehow off-season, and the price for the room was good value. Staff were fabulously helpful, particularly when we needed help to find emergency dental treatment. Hotel was comfortable and very clean. Would stay there again.

Extremely friendly and service-oriented staff, inhouse ski-rental and guide booking was very convenient, nice relaxation facilities after a day skiing (whirlpool, sauna and steambath). You only pay for the location, rooms standard are outdated so unless other hotels in Chamonix represent similar value for money - then go for it. Car park rather small and limited parkig space.old hotel, with no room service, the price should be less than we pay. I thought the staff were quite unfriendly and the breakfasts were expensive.Thought it was a bit expensive for what you got, 14€ for breakfast, for example... Our room was too hot and the radiator thermostat did not work. On arrival we complained and the receptionist said someone would come to adjust it. He never came and when I rang at 10.20pm , he said it needed a plumber. After a very uncomfortable night despite leaving the door open to the balcony, we complained again, the receptionist assured that someone would fix it. We spent 3 very uncomfortable. the furniture. Very tired decor and even though all of Chamonix is expensive it seemed to be relatively poor value.
