We loved the little patio area, the kitchen (we ate breakfast and a light dinner everyday in the apartment), and the upstairs with three beds in the upstairs loft for all the kids was great.   The location was great to see Pont du Gard, the hotel was easy to find as well. We arrived late evening so the fact they had a restaurant on site was a plus. The food was good and the staff was extremely friendly. They do speak English. The hotel was very old but charming. We had a family room which are two connecting rooms. Very basic furnishings... what people say » but we were there for 1 night and considering everything the price was right and we were happy with our choice of lodging. - Remoulins is a wonderful town in a spectacular area - and this little hotel is a real gem. Within walking distance of the fabulous Pont du Gard with a sort of faded charm that we loved. The weather was spectacular and we walked to the Pont - spent way more time there than expected and even swam in the river. The hotel staff let us leave our car in the lot for the day. Our meal on the deck was unforgettable. Our room was large, clean and faced the gardens.

  Bize de la Tour is a little jewel. This tiny hotel (4 rooms) is impeccably furnished, with each detail well-thought out. We stayed in the Louis XIII bedroom, with a canopy bed, fireplace and large closets. The bed was comfortable, and extra feather pillows were provided. The bathroom is huge by any standards, with a wonderful tub for bubble bat... what people say » hs and a separate shower. Everything was sparkling clean. Pierre is a delightful host, who provided afternoon tea and a delicious breakfast with home - Bize de la Tour lived up to all the very high opinions we have read. The building is fascinating what with its spiral staircase, huge beams etc. The rooms are superbly furnished and the bathroom has everything one would want. Pierre could not have been more welcoming, could not have done any more to help, and his relaxed attitude helped to relax his guests. On each of the three days we were there he had cooked something special for breakfast as an addition to everything else offered. There were

  Wonderful place to chill out with a marvelous swimming pool after a long day out. We had a wonderful dinner with the owner one evening and it was fantastic. Lovely homemade food include entree, main dish and dessert ( also a bootle of Rose) - Very calm, friendly staff, home-like atmosphere, perfectly located to visit the Roman bridge
