The setting is lovely - green and away from the bustle of Cannes but near enough to walk into Cannes (as long as you don't mind a bit of walk and can cope with a hill which we can).The pool, though not large, was great for our 12 year old who spent the mornings in it. We had a studio to ourselves across the narrow lane from the main complex and it was really lovely. Beautiful large room with fantastic large veranda and separate small kitchen. Very green and relaxing. Charming old style décor. L.
all reviews » I liked the location very much! In an olive tree garden amongst villa residences in Cannes. It gives you a feeling you are at home with friends.....not in an impersonal hotel. The room had a sweet pleasant decoration. It was just relaxing! Walking distance to Croisette - not far away. Thank you!. It felt like a private villa to myself. Just a 20 minute walk to the palais I was so close to everything and I ended up spending most of my time on their rooftop poolside. Very quiet, Very clean. Kitchenette in the room, very kind staff, free parking, beautiful landscaping, lovely view, great privacy. Very nice place, located relatively central, parking in the yard of hotel, large rooms with kitchen and large bathroom. After a not so positive first impression (my room had been used for cooking garlic and onions), I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are 'shabby chic', it's extremely quiet. I like walking, so the 15 mins to the far busier beach front did not bother me, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a total bargain. The rooms are inside a large garden, which has a parking space. The room was a little old but clean and comfortable. Good for the price. This looked like a really good deal so we booked but never ended up staying. Staff were really nice about it. Nothing. The only downside was that the free WIFI doesn't reach as far as the studio we were in across the road, but we were able to take the iPad across and use it round the pool - a small negative for me but a larger one for my daughter and husband! It wouldn't stop us returning however. It's a bit of an uphill trek, but if you have a car they've got a parking spot available. not exactly a luxurious hotel, but thats the charm!. Breakfast was not very good value. Croissants and rolls with spreads, fruit compote, tea coffee and hot choc for 36 euros for 2 adults and 2 children. staff speaking basic english. It's not really a traditional hotel with restaurant/bar etc. but more suitable for longer self catering stay. Fantastic value. There was no breakfast. Seems more than 10 mins away from center. Looked unclean but to be fair we never stayed so didn't give a good look but because of the old school bedding I don't like as don't know if it is clean or not. In need of total refurbishment and change in casual management.
