  Fantastic room, beautifully appointed, as was the bathroom. Thoroughly recommend the hotel. Madame Bisschop is a very welcoming hostess and has made all the rooms we saw (3 out of the 4 available) stunning. Breakfast was delicious, (real coffee for the first time during our stay in France this time! ) and beautifully presented. This small hotel... what people say » has real class. We shall be recommending it. - That we could take our dog as we were travelling to central France on holiday the following day and needed a room for just one night. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the owners were friendly. The breakfast was good and the hotel was great value for money, located in a quiet street but convenient to the Channel Tunnel. We would definitely stay at Le Cercle De Malines again.

  So unexpectedly lovely - the converted attic/loft had ample space for four, very comfortable beds for everyone (no horrid sofa beds here), a big fridge, efficient a/c, a lovely little lounge to relax in, and a delicious and pleasant breakfast to boot. The children were rather taken by Madame, who is very kind and friendly. The whole place is beaut... what people say » ifully decorated and there is a lovely park with a playground across the road. Almost impossible to believe this gem is a 5 min drive from the Channel - I thought that the loft was utterly charming - stylish, really comfortable and very well thought through. We loved that it was self-contained - we could relax with a glass of wine in the sitting room while our sons slept next door. There is a park across the road with a children's play area, which was perfect for letting off steam the following morning! We came as part of a two day trip to exlore Wissant, the surrounding area and to do some shopping. Thorughly recommend it and will be back.

  The hotel was very easy to find. Just popped address into Satnav and we were there within about 5 mins. You couldn't ask for a more central location really. A very small walk and we were in the middle of Calais, with all the shops and lovely little cafes. There were 3 of us in our group; myself, my wife and our 14 year old son. I can't really speak highly - I have stayed here when it was the Bonsai which was cheap and cheerful and this continues to be the case. The bedrooms appear to have befitted from a face-lift. The reception was welcoming and helpful and unlike other budget hotels appeared to be on duty quite late at night. As the name suggests it's right next to the station so handy for foot passengers.   We liked everything - There is not one thing we would criticize. We usually stay at the Mercure next door (about 2 - 3 times per year, sometimes travelling through Calais, but sometimes we like to spend Friday night here as it is a very good night out and is reasonably priced) - Having now tried the Ibis (I don't think your photographs do the pla... what people say » ce justice incidentally), this will now be our hotel of choice (and your nightly rate is VERY good). The rooms were superb, the beds and pillows were - I love this hotel, and their staff. Everyone is super helpful and the rooms are very comfortable. The bathrooms are superb with a walk-in shower, and the standard of cleanliness is excellent. I love the area given over for breakfast, and any small pastries left over from breakfast are put on a trolley in reception with a kettle and teabags and coffe, and guests can help themselves for free during the day. It is excellent.
