  The parking outside was just as they had said although turning up as the nursery opposite was emptying out wasn't clever. The people on reception were very friendly and helpful and pointed us up to our room on the first floor. So much better than it might have been! The hotel is really good value and would be excellent for a two or three day stay too. It b - The staff was very professional and friendly. They tried to help in every way possible...They even printed my boarding pass for the airport. The internet worked well except at very peak hours. Kitchen was a great addition. Even thought the reception was closed they had a way fr you to check in after hours.. I loved having a nice hot bath! I had no problem with smoke..and I have zero tolerance,

  Hotel is old but large airy room with small ensuite. Slept well and adequate continental b/fast. No lift so gd exercise gettings bags to room. Took bus from airport to end of its route and were directed to the tourist office. Easy walk from there to hotel. Bordeaux is a beautiful city and very clean. Noticeably less butts and rubbish. The staff were helpful and polite. The hotel is located near a huge supe3rmarket if you wnat to eat in your apartment, aned near a comprehensive range of cafes and restaurants if you want to eat out.
