  Handy for the ferry terminal at Ouistreham, less than 10 mins. Quiet village, able to walk along canal to visit Pegasus Bridge. Staff friendly, reassured us regarding cycles left on car roof overnight. Stayed on both outward and return journey with 2 teenagers in family room - spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend. - The village and the hotel are delightful places to stay. The building has tremendous character, quality finishings. Our bedroom was one of the best we have stayed in - as was the bathroom. We thoroughly recommend Great location to visit Pegasus Bridge and the museum. We stayed the night of the 5th June and really enjoyed the celebrations until the early hours

  We received a friendly welcome on a very cold evening having arrived on the late boat from Portsmouth. The room was warm and nicely furnished with period pieces The hotel was in a pleasant setting. We were travelling with a full car and the parking and security for the car was good. - There had been a lot of snow and I was the only guest.   Lovely staff who as a regular guest always seem to remember the extra chair I like in my room and mugs with handles. Well done all of you. Fantastic food. If you stay have diner its delicious. 24Hr concierge so no problems with delayed arrival as happened to us when ferry was 5 hrs late. 2 mins from large Carrefour so handy for last minute wine/ch... what people say » eese shopping to take home. Perfect place to stay for visiting d day landings. Spacious rooms with plenty of space in disabled rooms. - Proximity to Ferry-Port. Well designed approach and welcoming area. Clever washing cubicle... very ingenious, Good beds although overall colour-scheme a bit dour... needs a re-think but stylish when new no doubt. Staff exceedingly helpful despite our quirky ways. Very nice Hotel with excellent Restaurant and good Breakfast.
