This hotel provided everything - underground parking, spacious apartment with kitchen, air-conditioning, large balcony and even a sea view and it is not far from the Casino area once you work out how the strets and public elevators are laid out. It is very important to book a parking space in the underground garage of the hotel and we were glad that we did so, because Monaco is a parking-hell; from our balcony we observer that some of the cars parked on the street were damaged/scratched twice w.
all reviews » Very good apartments. Clean and well desinged. Staff is very friendly. Location is about 5-7 minutes to center of Monaco: first turn left to the down stairs. Then take a public lift to the center. Don't be scared it's very easy and safe. Also if you go on the right and turn near the Olimpic hotel you will find a good mini market where you can buy all food (just 3-4 minutes walking). Internet was working very good. Excellent location for ease of getting about. Apartment provided us with enough space for both our stay and being able to self cater when required. Very clean and the reception staff were always helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend for stay for both above reasons as well as cost in relation to location. Would choose upper rear floors for views and quiteness. Has a roof terrace for sunning !!. The receptionist was the most genuine, friendly and helpful of all time. The room was large with good facilities including a kitchenette and the internet was very good. There is a supermarket, boulangerie, etc close by. It is walking distance to the casino and the beach and has a bus stop close by. Car parking is available at a reasonable price. Highly recommended. Roof top tanning area with views of Monaco and port area north. Have nice balconies (overlooking sea in some cases). Super,modern has got everything, the staff was friendly, the location is good. The only thing was that the bedroom was in the basement and there was cold so we moved upstairs and slept on the sofa bed which was excellent. We stayed in Monte Carlo just one night. Therefore, time management was important. We had planned to check in at 14:30 and arrived from Nice just before that time. The plan was to take a shower, unpack our stuff and go out to discover the city. However, they told us the room was not ready yet due to many departures that day, so we had to leave our baggage at the reception and wander around for an hour. Had it been a long visit, that might not be a problem, but for we already had little time to . Room was good. Location was reasonable in relation to access to Monte Carlo. Like everywhere in Monte Carlo it is steep and many stairs to walk up and down. nothing found. all was perfect. Slightly small rooms (one of the two rooms that we had booked was just big enough, with the sofa bed open, to walk around as there wasn't enough space to put the bags). Having to leave Thanks to Christine, Victorine and other staff for all your help!. Only downside is the lack of parking. The hotel has a limited number of spaces for it's guests which you can book in advance on a first come first serve basis. We booked last minute so could not benefit from this option. We had to park in an underground carpark 5 mins away for €20 a day. Not the hotels fault at all, just be prepared if you are travelling by car. Funny smells from other appartment when visitors cooking especially Japanese ... :). Not enough wardrobe space for 2 women if staying for more than couple of days. Shower was small and the curtain didn't cover the entire shower which led to the floor getting soaked. Breakfast table was nice, but a bit small. No outlets in the bathroom, but they did have a blow-dryer. Dishwasher did not work. I still recommend this place. Nothing beats a great staff!. Bed was very-very uncomfortable. Cleaning staff, bit unfriendly and disturbing, forgetting to put soaps etc. in the room, but well this was just a minor things, since management was helping out and contact with cleaning staff was not that much... The bed was very "firm" and pillows quite small and only one each supplied. Whats not to like?. - breakfast is ok with fruits, meat cuts, eggs in addition to standard croissant/coffee. but coffee is average and choice is not wide - no view. There were no comfy chairs to relax in, only a tiny dining table and two chairs, or the bed. parking in the area is quite complicated, the hotel has a small parking that has to be booked in advance; we left our car to a public parking approximately 500 m from the hotel (13 euro for one night). You have to check in by 8:30PM on your first day of arrival not a huge deal just didn't know. there is nothing not to like about this facility. Car Parking was not very secure. None. The only thing we missed a little is 2 more comfotable (relaxing) chairs. Gps had a difficult time finding the hotel but this was not the Hotel' fault. Skimpy bathroom counter space. No pool. The mattress are too hard. Staff not organized - they mixed up the rooms, we had to change rooms all the time. no instructions for the microwave! possibility of paying for a welcome pack with basics like tea, coffee and milk would be good. Pet smell in the room, can't sleep well. no pool, but a rooftop!. Bedroom was extremely tight but non the less practical. not comfortable pillows (too soft) and beds (too hard). Google maps shows it much closer to the centre of town than it actually is. Steps, lots of steps this far away. It's a proper location, most probably for those who want to spend several days or weeks in Monte Carlo, but both in terms of their system and the location, may not be the best option for a short visit. Finding the Hotel was very difficult. No where to park except for parking area about 15 minutes walk in rain. I made a mistake and did not reserve a parking space. No where to stop outside hotel to unload bags.
