I loved my stay at Ruissalo!!!! The hotel was amazing! The 3 pools and sauna exceeded my expectations.....as did the spectacular breakfast buffet. The view from my window took my breath away. The nature and wildlife were wonderful! The staff were exceptionally helpful, available and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for an amazing and unforgettable experience.

This spa hotel was a very nice place. We enjoyed the pools and sauna. The breakfast buffet was very good. There were lovely walking paths nearby. Dining in the restaurant and hotel staff. Good location. The perfect place for a relaxing holiday. For those who love the northern nature. Beautiful nature, forest, coast archipelago, bike rental, close to the golf course, close to the city bus stop which takes you to Turku. pools quiet location. Quiet location. Situation is great when the Ruisrock-festival is on. Price is also low enough when you do the reservation early enough. Otherwise I wouldn´t go there .. Surroundibgs were nice. I recommend renting a bike. Staff, lobby and breakfast meet the four star standard. The spa area smaller than expected but OK. Permit for short-time parking at main entrance while unloading and loading luggage. It is a good peace of nature!. Nature. During the evening couple of wild rabbits jumped under our balcony. At daytime dozen of grey goose walked on the hotel territory. Bikes and kayaks for rent. Beautiful landscapes. Sauna and swimming pool. I draw a blank in trying to find a single thing I didn't like about this hotel. Nothing. No air-conditioning so the room was very warm even when we kept the windows open and the fan turned on. The grounds and steps leading to the seaside dock and swimming area needed cleaning. Breakfast not very varied, in the bar carelessly washed dishes and frequent lack of support. a little aged. Staff is slow and un-friendly. They claimed me, the customer for double-booking, which was actually their fault. Didn´t get any condolences or reward for this. Room furniture and especially the non-existent airconditioning need urgent updating. Windows too small to get rid of sun induced daytime heat and let fresh air in. The effective large window was not intended to be operated by guests. It would have been a nightmare to stay in that room without proper cooling. The price is too expensive. Food is terrible. No choice at all (mostly hamburgers, sandwiches and pork ribs). No place to eat after 20.00 (and there is no room service at night time). Staff is very slow. Beach is very small, water in the gulf is quite cold and not clear. Staff bored and not able to fulfill customer needs. Public transport connections absent after 11:30 pm. If you are under 70 years old, better to stay in the city of Turku (10 km from Ruissalo).
