Wishhed we had our town bikes with ous . From the rear of the Hostel a new cycle track 900m toTrain & bus station and down town center. In the other direction,Sea park and swimming beach and cafeterias. Christine Hume. There was stove for us to prepare simple meals, staffs are friendly and helpful, very clean room, quiet neighborhood. It is situated not far from city, metro station, shopping areas and all are walking distance.

There is a good connection from the city center by the tram #3T or #8. Few supermarkets just opposite to the main reception. The main reception works overnight. We have lived in a very quite room. The room is large. Internet has a fair speed. Location was great for Rock the Beach. As long as you weren't looking for luxury, it was good value for money. Most of the staff are friendly. The apartment we used had no cups or delph if you wanted to cook only a pot and a pan other wise space was excellent. Sometimes it was difficult to sleep because of stuffy air-the window can't be opened widely. Soap not provided, and this isn't noted on the letsbookhotel.com page. No cookware in the kitchenette, so it's not possible even to boil water for coffee. Breakfast (if you take it) is a bit limited - one meat, one cheese, one bread. The internet connection did not work the entire time. The staff was very helpful though and we got free breakfast as compensation. No hair dryer, iron and kitchen facilities (such as microwave, kettle..). My bed was so narrow, I woke up whenever I turned over. My bed was only 28 inches wide (70 cm). This is narrower than a single bed in North America. Also, on the A building, there is a note saying go to the main reception if the A building reception is not open. But they don't tell you where the main reception is !. Nothing is unsatiesfied. Minimal provisions (toilet paper, soap, etc). no internet. Deficient cleaning. I was 12 days and they did not clean the room, neither changed towels nor bed sheets. There is no soap neither for body shower nor for washing dishes. There are no dishes in room but you can take them from communal kitchen. We have arrived late, and was upset that there is nothing available in the room for nor higiene (i.e., soap) neither for cooking (only one glass). Since we have stayed not in a main building, it was quite problematic to get back to cook something, and there was no frying pan or boiling pot available first two days. It created us some problems. It was very basic but for the money it was ok. You get what you pay for. Unfortunately, the room wasn't cleaned during my 6-days stay in Helsinki. Lack of basics eg coat hangers. Wifi in rooms would have been great. The mattress was very thin. Some staffs are not helpful. When I asked about a supermarket and also bus schedule to the airport, they just gave me rough information. so I had to figure out by myself later. Absence of kitchen ware(teakettle and casserole) in building A.
