The hotel staff were always very friendly, helpful & professional. The view from the room ( 19th floor in my case ) was splendid, over the harbour and the sea beyond. The bar upstairs on the roof was nice, with even better views ; but it was always possible to have a quiet drink in the less frequented bar downstairs, should one so wish. I felt the airport transfer at 21 euros was overpriced(a taxi ride costs 6 euros). I received several business calls, and they calls were not transferred to the room. The ladies at reception were professionals but a little cold. Nothing. the hotel is 10years old, rooms look poor - but price is relatively high, like the hotel was new. Price of mini bar was crazy so refused to use it. Towels in bathroom a joke, really cheap quality. We were given the room, that we didn't assk for, but it was changed on the second day. Nothing negative except some repiar work in receiption hall under go during the stay in hotel, but not to much noise in the room during the day. There should be more choice for the breakfast in such hotel. No possibility to gather Club Carlson points when booking via letsbookhotel.com. Other members of our party had been able to get a lower rate through booking .com than ourselves. it should be the same price for all. poor toiletries in the bathroom - take your own shampoo. air flows only through air condition. the large bed is actually a combination of two smaller beds with two separate blankets. Did not like that near the entrance, on Saturday and Sunday morning did not clean the trash, a lot of garbage accumulated in it, tumbling out. Ugly, for a decent hotel. Expired coffee cream in the room, minibar not working with warm beer and white wine, stinky corridor, shabby door-frame, an empty hole in the wall for flat tv, white tv stood unmounted on the desk. Room after repair. Painty smell in room. Cleaning in room was the worst. Didn t change a towel, a bed didn t make/. Too expensive for such a room. The staff never smiled which might because of the busy holiday situation. Brekfast, comparing to Olympia is not so good. price, hotel is a bit out dated from design point, therefore price is a bit to high. surprisingly DIRTY!.
