Great location. Fair price. Friendly staff. If you're looking for the same services as a hotel/motel this is not it! There is no daily servicing of your room. If you want fresh towels, linen or toilet paper you need to go to reception and ask. There is no TV/coffee/tea in the rm. This is a hostel which is very clean with comfy beds and a fantastic location. Everything is within walking distance. Nyhavn is 500 metres away. It is a 5 min walk to Kings Square Metro station which is on same line as.

Staff are fantastic, facilities are great with bar, disco (concealed dance area most evenings), large chilling out area and evening entertainment! This is basically a very cool & trendy place right in the heart of beautiful Copenhagen. My only regret was sleeping in on the one day I'd promised to go on the city walk lead by Aurora... Apologies, Aurora... Next time!... And then there is finally the legen. Staff was amazingly nice and always had a new tip about places to go or things to do. The hostel room is probably fancier than my apartment back home. Toilets are neat and great, shower is great, loads of activities, great deals at the bar, great background music, loads of computers for people who travel without laptops to use, wifi works in the room, which I didn't know was gonna be a hard thing to find in Scandinavia, but it was and also there are two individual outlets per bed which is reall. Modern and new-looking hostel, great location close to Nyhavn and Kongens Nyrtov. The room, common areas and toilets were very clean. I stayed in the all girls room and loved the long makeup mirror! The hostel bar was a nice place to hang out in and not too expensive, and people were friendly which was great for me being a solo traveller. I always managed to find someone to do stuff with if I wanted. The receptionists were very helpful as well. The hostel was clean and looked well maintained. Even though it was a hostel, it wasnt only for young backpackers. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We had a private room with a private bathroom. The room and the bathroom were clean, neat and comfortable. We didnt have the breakfast, but as it looked like, we didnt miss much (especially not for the price) Near by there are cafes and nyhaven and they offer breakfast too. One of the best hostels ever, maybe the best, everything is perfect in there and I mean, everything, even the price isnt bad, wow I have to say im traveling a lot this autum and was extremely surprised with how great this hostel is, just what I needed, some good showers/toilets and a great place to relax after walking the whole day.it does feel like a hotel because of the comfort and convenience, my vote is a 10!. We stayed in a private room with our own shower, which was like a hotel (nice/quiet/clean), but you could tell that this was a place that if you came alone, by the time you left Copenhagen you would have met friends and had a good time. Its upbeat and modern design. Not what would you expect from any normal hostel/backpackers, even at its cheap price. I was on a stag do and they put up with the antics of the group with a smile, friendly approach, specially when we were maybe a bit loud and obscene. They approached us with a sense of humour when we were over the top. The accommodation chipped in, making this trip brilliant!. The position is amazing, 5 minutes walk to Nihavn. The staff is very friendly, informative, and there 24 hrs/day. I do advice to book a double room (110 Eur, very good price for the area)instead of 2 bunk beds (46 Eur each, quite expensive). The beds are nice, the style of the hostel is very modern and colourful, the bathrooms are always present, even if shared, also in bunk bed rooms. The hostel has a very good location in the city center and nice design. Reception staff is extremely friendly and ready to help you with your problems. In the lobby zone you can comfortable work with Internet, as well as drink some beer or coffee. To lock your stuff you can buy a personal locker with key. Rooms have bathroom and wc. I stayed at Generator Copenhagen at the begining of my trip around the Baltic Sea and then when I returned. I would certainly stay there again if given the chance. Quite, clean, friendly. Close to City Centre. It's difficult to book a room on-line not knowing exactly where the accommodation is within the city. This hostel was right on when visiting Copenhagen. I was pleased with the cleanliness and orderliness of the hostel's public spaces. My private single room contained too very comfortable beds, with the crispest of white linen. The bathroom was nice and spacious--and immaculately clean. The staff seems to be consistent in their friendliness to everyone. Amazing value for one of the coolest parts of CPH!!!. Copenhagen is a very expensive city for accommodation. We had a private room with a double bed and a private bathroom - fairly bare bones - and we paid approximately 1/2 to 2/3 the price we would have paid for a hotel room with a shared bathroom. It's a very central location. The rooms are clean. The check-in staff were efficient and professional. Very nice hostel, much better than many hotels. Clean and great furnishing. Perfect!!. 24 hours reception, the bar, the breakfast available for 75 dkk. Nice chill out area with pool table, couches and tables. The hostel is very colourful and there s a young atmosphere. If you are travelling by car the hostel gives you a 45% off the cost of the parking underneath it (q park). Very quiet room. Three days stay for visiting the city, it is in a great central location, comfortable common areas and the room was very comfortable, modern and bright. The bathroom and shower in the room were basic and clean (they came once to clean them). The room is new & clean, just like the photo in letsbookhotel.com. i am looking forward to their hostel in Barcelona, as well as their new hostel in Paris in 2014. I liked the simple, but stylish design of the rooms. The hygiene around the whole hostel was excellent. The members of staff(especially in the bar area) were very friendly and hospitable. The hostel's proximity to food shops, cafes, bars and the high street was brilliant. it's what i call a luxury hostel: it's a cheap place but the decoration is nice, it's confortable, super conveniant for mobile travelers, you can book private rooms. There is nothing extra luxury but still the bedroom was nice enough, typical nordic simple deseign. Very central location, neatly kept, very friendly enviroment and staff. We saw people that looked like they were spending all their holiday in the lobby, it was so cosy and comforting. Our room was a two bed room with shower, very clean and more than enough. The hostel was absolutely amazing- it was clean and neat in the rooms, the staff was of great help, and the location was awesome- the Rosenborg castle and Nyhavn were 2 minutes walk) I was quite impressed when I found that there was Wi-Fi in the room). The location is perfect, in the heart of Copenhagen. For me it was great because I took a twin room with a private bathroom, but I can't say about the shared room of this hostel. I'm already planning to visit Copenhagen again!. We stayed in a room for two and it was very quiet. The location is very central and we could rent bikes next door. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but we had some late drinks in the lobby, very nice :-). When You enter the Copenhagen hostel in Adelgade You are being checked-in by smiling and helpful receptionists. The breakfast-buffet is fine,- and the beds and the bed-linen gives You a good nights sleep. The facilities and room were spot on and the staff were very helpful for tips on places to visit and how to get there. I loved the contemporary feel of the hostel and it was great to meet other travellers. Stay in a twin with private bathroom. Exceptionally clean, really comfy matress, light and airy. Happy hour between 9-10pm in the bar. Free wifi. Easy walks to most major attrations and free maps. The socialising area is all one big space, so you can meet people without having to sit at the bar all evening. The staff are also really friendly and helpful, the place is clean and comfortable. Modern, quite clean (could do better), excellent relation price-quality (for the Copenhagen standards). Friendly staff. Really nice common area, where you can easily get to know some new people. The value of service and price was very good! Room was simply, but very clean. The stuff was really very kindly. No fees for using luggage room, it was really good because check out is 10:00. If you don't need the trimmings of a hotel/ motel this is perfect. Nothing. Everything was perfect. Bring your own lock as there aren't any individual lockers in the room, you get a big metal box under the beds which is great but doesn't come with a lock. Or else u can buy one at reception for 30 kronor. If you stay on the weekend, you might here some people shouting on the street. There are some pubs and bars near by, but otherwise the street is very quite. It is not safe at all to leave luggage at the reception, there a room with no control at all on who's taking what. The external walls of the hotel are literally covered withbug spiders, if you don't keep your windows shut, you will have soon many spiders in the room. On one night we killed 12. Quite expensive breakfast, it's easier to have a breakfast outside the hostel. The cheapest rooms are a little bit overcrowded, what makes your night not so quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is a little expensive for what you get. I would recommend heading to the nearby cafes. Room was quit hot and there was no air condition so we had to keep the window open at night and in the morning we woke up to the noise from the kindergarten outside. Pillows were terrible and wifi was sometimes really slow. Breakfast was not included, costs 65 dkk if you prebook otherwise it's 75dkk. No kitchen to prepare your own food. No kitchen available for making his own meal, big hostel which often results in queuing for checking in, but nothing really dramatic. I forgot to pack a towel and was able to purchase one at the hostel. On my return trip I overheard that they had run out of towels. Lucky, I still had mine. I'm glad I wasn't the person who had to go without; although there were stores within walking distance to purchase. On one of our nights, the hostel hosted a karaoke night. We were on the 5th floor, which is one of the highest floors, and we could still audibly hear the karoke in our room, which was taking place on the 2nd floor. It stopped at 11pm, but we were tired and trying to sleep. There was also not insignificant street noise from the nightlife, but I don't know if that is something you can avoid if you want to stay in downtown Copenhagen on a weekend night. The sketchy WiFi. The mattress was not perfectly clean, there were a little bit hair of someone who had stayed there before. I liked almost everything of it!. We could not consume food or drinks bought from the supermarket in the common area. the shower in the bathroom was completly open, next to toilets and everything, so whenver you take a shower it's a total mess with water and i did'nt like that. A hair dryer in the bathroom would have been great. Breakfast was expensive and not great. No soap is provided in the bathrooms. They don't give you a towel, nor can you rent one. Instead, they'll *sell* you one. Nothing... The only thing which is not so good as I had expected is breakfast at the hostel: first of all, it is very expensive(75 DKK), secondly, it's not tasty for such a price. My advice is to go to 7/11 and buy food there). At peak times it could take a while to get served at the bar but the staff that were on duty were always excellent and helpful. Would be great to have a kitchen facility to keep the costs down. A stronger wi-fi signal would be great. A friend was looking into staying another night & was offered a mixed dorm, but the booking policy meant the staff were unable to inform her what the male/female ratio would be. This could prove to be a dangerous policy for women in general. Nothing. It was more than I had anticipated. There was nothing i didnt like. Dorms are a bit crowded. Too many beds in one room, not enough space between. Too crammed, bathroom and shower facilities also very small. Breakfast was WAY too expensive for what you got (75 DKK - I didn't partake, got a much better breakfast at a cafe down the street for less (60 DKK.), and there was an extra cost for everything. Too "nickel and dime-y" for my taste. Advice: For what they charge for a bed, add more value, it will result in better guest feedback. Breakfast was not a good value - better to just dine ala carte or at a cafe somewhere. There was some noise from street - but not obnoxious like other city hotels. The main lift was slow due to volume of guests. Second lift at rear - so all good!. Can't remember anything.. Nothing to complain about!. Unfortunately there were a lot of road works about and they seemed to start before 6:00am right outside our window. I feel this should have been taken into account when pricing the stay for that room as it did affect our sleep. The wifi didn't have the best range, was never able to use in in the bar area as advertised, could only get access close to reception and on the stairwell, so mainly standing up and hanging around to use it. Sleeping in an 8-bed room is difficult if you are not a deep sleeper. There is always someone making noise, or with lights open. Also, during summer there is almost no night, and the curtains didn't do well its job. The room had a toilet inside, which was not cleaned everyday. Close to a night-life street, music (and people on the street) is too loud during Fridays and Saturdays. No kitchen or fridge!.
